JCRU, was that after he missed the dunk or after his great offensive rebound putback to give the team the lead again?

EC with a smooth, relaxed few FTs. Inbound to EC all day.

Too bad they gave up the quick layup to bring game back to 2pts again.

Steve McDonald says they're playing Arizona next, yet Arizona has yet to advance to the next round. I know, I know... but probably not what he should have said.

"... a great chance to play #5 Arizona tomorrow night" could have been better.

it's not relentlessly going after a kid if people are just observing him playing like garbage. mike's probably a good kid. but he's getting paid a shit load more than i got to go to school - at as someone who donates and pays money to watch this team, i think the criticism is completely fair game.

to my next point...have we got to the point where we can just decide to start EC and not go into a hole early? wouldn't it be nice to see what playing with a lead is like?

that being said it really doesnt matter what lineup we put out tomorrow...its gonna be a blood bath.

That won't be even close to the worst team we will play. Maybe better than 10+ teams on our schedule, actual.

I take my hat off to Biggie. Easily the best game I've seen him play, and I was really down on him after the first few games. I was impressed tonight. I hope we can get efforts like that from him consistently going forward.

Good win. Beating the #1 D2 school in the country is nothing to scoff at. A lot of D1 teams would lose to these guys. #10 looked like he should be starting for Gonzaga. Missed some of the game due to the Pats, but liked what I saw from Minnis, EC and Gil (offensively anwyway). I'd be shocked if the starting lineup stays the same for tomorrow night.

It's also online via ESPN3/WatchESPN.com

So thrilled for Biggie to put together a line worthy of a point guard. 5 assists to 1 turnover. Some big shots, including some outside ones to keep the D honest.

Yeah, clock didn't restart on time, but ball did go through hoop before the backboard illuminated in RED to indicate time expiration.

Believe it or not, that was a win against a better opponent than NCAT (IMO anyway).

If NCAT was akin to barely an A-10 bottom feeder level, probably not even, MS was a team that probably could have made it to the A-10 Tourney last year and scared a few better teams.

They need to take the game plan for half # 2, and play two halves like that.

If we start EC maybe it won't be such a blowout, although without Biruta at his best, we're going to get killed inside.

Mike Powell's time is past. He shouldn't start anymore.

Although it will be another measuring stick, to see how far we have to go, to compete with the big boys of college BB.
