Totally agree, Rod! It's always refreshing to hear a well-spoken student athlete. Rhody has quite a number of those on the roster!

I thought of all the freshmen that Iffy and Butler would be the least likely to get this award. Boy was I wrong.

Onyekaba is very well spoken. I thought he'd have a stronger African accent, but I guess he's been here long enough to lose it. He came across as humble (in a good way) realizing he still has to work on his game (defensive rebounding in particular).

Watched the news tonight on NBC and saw Mr. Carpano point out Cotton for getting player of the week for PC and a Bryant player for some kind of basketball honor this week, but no mention of Onyekaba. Can't say I was surprised.
