UMass and UConn are not acronyms of anything so capitalizing all the letters makes no sense.
URI - UMass - UConn
Ramster be careful of the grammar police.
I guess we can all be in trouble on this board.
RamAttitude,
I see you joined KB a year ago and this was your 5th post since joining. Welcome to Keaney Blue
So a little research I did on the subject RamAttitude........
Searching UMASS there are 16,738 matches and 335 pages going back to 11 years ago
The first use of UMASS was 11 years ago by Blue Man under title thread SI.Com's Busting Brackets predicts 6 win season for Rhod
Many uses of UMASS but an edge to UMass and also to Umass.. Some use a Capital M and some use lower case m
Searching UCONN there are 7,538 matches and 151 pages going back to 11 years ago
The first use of UMASS was 11 years ago also by Blue Man under title thread Women's Uni's
Uses of UCONN, UConn, Uconn and also uconn were common among the 7,538 uses
I see your point in going with UMass and UConn. But I could also say that both schools should by UC and UM, just as we are URI. No need to have the ass or onn included with the UM or UC.
I'll find on the UMass and the UConn board where posters sometimes refer to URI as URIne, our should it be URINE? Urine? or urine??
At any rate, I think the only way this gets fixed consistently on Keaney Blue is if somebody corrects each poster whenever someone posts differently from UMass or UConn. Maybe somebody will volunteer for that job?
Dayton only wins by 8 points. 29P and 10R from HolmesBrea played 30 minutes off bench. Jack and Padegimas played 6 minutes each as we see more HC's reduce their Rotations to 6,7 or 8 players

LaSalle upset UMass winning by 1 point. LaSalle hit 9-21 3P's for 43%. Diggins had a bad shooting day for UMass hitting only 4-16 FGs

Duquesne with a solid 10 point win over St Joseph's. Duquesne hit 9-18 3P's for 50%
Davidson (14-10) @ St Bonaventure (-7.5) (15-9) CBSSN 3:30pm
Davidson almost pulled the upset losing by just 1 point. Conner Kochera went 11-15 FG and 4-7 3P for 29 points to lead Davidson.

Yet another example of a team that turned it around instantly.
First year head coach, brought Kenneshaw St to the tourney last season.

Ramster, I am still holding on to hope that we can finish inside the top 10 but we are slipping.
An 8th or 9th place finish in a deeper A10 wouldn’t thrill me but I would be encouraged. A 4-2 finish in our last 6 would do it, I think. Maybe 3-3 with some lucky breaks from teams immediately ahead suffering upsets.
That said, I don’t like our chances of going 4-2 after suffering another loss today. Tough to be positive when the losses keep coming.
The only reason some have them in is by default, non had them in as an at large.
Since they were first in the A10, some bracketologists automatically put Richmond in as the AQ for the conference.
Yeah, I think this is a universally used approach where every 1st place team is the default AQ then they fill in the at-larges from there. If Richmond falls behind Dayton in the A10 standings over the next week or two, we'll see brackets only have 1 A10 team in.
Reef won’t see my post though because he blocked me.
Damn, that hurts.
I think of Reef as one of the kindest (if not THE kindest) posters I’ve ever encountered on this board. He compliments other posters with comments such as “that is a great find!” When an interesting article is posted.
Reef is not hesitant to change his mind and admit to being wrong. He is knowledgeable of many sports followed here including of course MBB, WBB, URI Football, NFL, NBA, MLB and others. He knows a lot about a lot of sports including not just the present but the history of the sport.
Not sure why he would block somebody but I’m sure if Reef were to block me I’d want to remedy the situation since I enjoy his comments and thoughts……..and have for a long time here.

As I was saying...I wonder if Creighton will storm? (I think they will/should)
They’re ranked 15th and have second weekend caliber talent.
Shouldn’t storm, they’re a legit team. (and I love court storming)
Yeah, I always err on the side of storming. If it's a t all a question...get out there. It only happens when it's an upset, so, who's to say what's a big enough upset? Get out there folks, storm. Although, I'm leaning back towards my UConn cover prediction...
I think if you beat the #1 team, you always storm. No exceptions.

Good call 208 , easy court storm
How many times have we stormed @ Ryan Center ? I know Nebraska, any others ?
