Not saying you're making things up, Rod. Sheesh.

If you come here to vent about the online system, we can try to help troubleshoot your issue if you could provide more detail about exactly what you did to produce the issue.

If you selection time is tonight, you will have plenty of seats in 204/205/206 available or on the other side of the court as well.

Blue Man, I'd love to, but I'm not in a position to, these days.
More pressing money matters than season tickets, unfortunately.
I might have to slide over to 207, instead of 206, due to pricing.
If it were one seat, yes, all day long.

I loved 207 last year. Just want to move into the center where a couple of loud people might be able to wake that building up, instead of staying out of the way in the corner.

But it's nice to be above the tunnel

I had checked with the box office and they said it could only be seen when actively picking your seats.

The reason I mentioned it today is, the link is no longer working.
I think it was a glitch that I wasn't supposed to have access to.
I could go section to section and see all the grayed out taken seats.
Last night, I went on to see what seats had been taken during the
day's seating, and it said that the link was no longer available.
I don't see why they shouldn't make that available to everyone.
This gives you a much better idea of what's going to be there when it's your time to pick.
I went over several sections with my daughter, so we'd be on the
same page with the picks.

My 2 cents: I think the 304-306 are as good as 207, 208 etc. for a lot less money.

Rod.

When it's your time, click on this link: http://ev8.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce ... &caller=PR

In the box, type in your account number, and you will be able to get in. If you typed in MBBDEMO before, you would be able to get in to see the practice site, but it's been taken offline now.

Also, if you try to go in early, you won't be able to get into the map, but it should take you to this screen:

Image

Just click on the link in the box when your time hits and you're good to go.

You can always e-mail the box office (or fax over the proxy form) and put your seating preferences in the e-mail so you don't need to wait.

You can put your seats from last year, and where you would like to sit if those seats aren't available when your time comes.

That way, you don't need to wait around.

First row 305 is a great spot!! Excellent view and still the east concourse which I feel is much roomier and scenic than the west side near alumni room.

I missed not being able to see the scoreboard easily on the west side. The one in the northeast corner is blocked by the ducts in that vantage point as well. I'm looking forward to being in center court.

Section Row Seat(s)
----- ------- ----- ----------
207 C 1-3

Got pretty much what I wanted! Virtually the same
seat loaction I had in 214, only in 207, which
was my plan since last season.
It worked very well, despite the drama leading

Why does the lower level on the West side of the arena look so crappy?
I always sat on that side, so I never noticed. Also, on TV, the camera faces the East side.
There's all jogs, and the railings aren't the mesh kind , they're the metal
pipe like ones.
It's like they're built by two different contractors.
I know they stuff the press tables there, but it's kinda hideous looking.

Those were exactly my seats the last 2 years. I know I can expect you to uphold the long standing tradition of telling the refs where they can put their whistle, and helping to make that corner come alive.

Maybe we can do a tin can/sting phone through URI 96 and connect all our sections with communication?

Funny, GoneBaronGone.

Rod, to your question, the West side of the arena has additional retractable seating to allow for full-size tractor trailers to enter, specifically under 211 and 212 and where the 110 'would' be if they did not have the media table there. While on the East side, sections 104 and 105 retract back to under the permanent blue railing, the SouthWest corner has retractable seating halfway up section 211 and 212 (not just to the first row), so there's no permanent concrete structure to anchor a full-length West sideline railing as seen on the East side.

It's also very possible I misunderstood your question.

Gonzo, no you have 2 years until you get pissed off again.

Maybe I'm used to online commerce, but I don't see what the big deal is. It took me 5-10 minutes and, while it did interrupt my dinner (at 6:25) it was no worse than answering a phone call or the front door.

Plus you did have the option of doing it my mail or in person ..... which would have taken longer.

Iggy, I'm very interested about the upcoming season. Having to be at a computer at 7:05 last night kept me from playing 9 holes of golf after work on a beautiful Rhode Island summer evening. I think they are making this extremely complicated instead of saying "If you want your same seats as last year, you have until x to renew, or else new people interested can purchase them." This whole idea of thinking that making people crazy at reseating time and going into their pockets for more $$$ to make their selection time earlier is absolutely nuts.

I don't think they should have let people keep their seats no matter what. Demand for seats is increasing and will continue to increase as the team gets better under Hurley. The program needs money and all the other successful programs we can aspire to be (like VCU, etc) do this or even have straight up seat licenses.

For now, without seat licenses (too early to do that to the fan base), reseating every several years ensures that people continue to be motivated to give if they want the best seats.

You did have the option to email/fax/snailmail a form to indicate your preference to keep your existing seats IF THEY WERE STILL AVAILABLE at your selection time. I think you would also indicate a few other options so they can find the best match for your preferences in the event your previous seats were not available when your turn came up.

I can understand not liking the idea of potentially losing your seats, but we were all given 3 options for participating in this process with one of them allowing you to make your decision well in advance to avoid the need to be online some weeknight evening.

I'm obviously far from the top in priority point ranking, so I was prepared for the chance that I would not have had my old seats.

Got a call at about 11 this morning. Box office rep helped me to select seats over the phone. 307 Row A seats 3+4. Happy with the seats, just a little irritated that I wasn't able to do it on my own as planned.
