URI takes the lead 10-7 after a nice throw off what looked to be the back foot by Kasim.

Rhody defense forces a 3 and out. Big Westley Neal made a super athletic play (considering his size) sniffing out the screen to prevent a first down.

Silas then fumbles in Rhody territory on the first play. With Maine inside our redzone, will need the defense to step up again.

I noticed they used that big/tall running back, McKenzie, on this series. He was really good in the 4th last week too.

He was the one with the really impressive highlight video in the off season

ooh, Rhody is getting the bounces so far. Might have been a pass interference call there, if not for the ball being tipped. Maine to punt.

So far getting a generous fair shake from the refs for a visiting team.

What is going on with Maine special teams? Two penalties I can't remember the last time I've seen...

Maine got a penalty for punting the ball after a touchdown instead of kicking it.

Maine also got called for calling for a fair catch on a kick off, as the other player back who didn't catch the ball signaled for a fair catch.

One thing that I've been impressed with recently is the depth that the staff has been able to compile. I feel like we've finished games well as we've been able to rotate guys in. I would imagine some of it is adjustments, but I feel like we've been able to finish teams out because we've been able to keep guys fresh and rotate. Certainly wasn't something we've been able to do in the past.

Case in point- the running back rotation. Chase around Sloat/Silas/Griffin only to have to tackle the bowling ball Mckenzie. We were able to rotate a lot of talent on the Dline last year as well.
