“He’s a guy we recruited in here to be a key guy, a building block type of player, and he’s demonstrated the skill and the physical talent,” Hurley said. “For him it’s all about commitment and toughness. If he displays that he’ll be a big player.”

So I infer from that quote from Dan that Reischel is highly skilled but may not be very comfortable banging around and taking contact. Isn't that the typical Euroball --> US Hoop transitional challenge for so many players?

Sounds like Jarelle could be a key piece this year. One of the writers (DiSano?) said he is one of the three locks to start this year along with Biruta and X. Have we been underestimating the impact that Jarelle could have for this team?

I think so, BillyBoy. He has been the least talked about guy on the team (along with TJ) since we found out he was transferring here.

My father in law is a ref in the Pt Pleasant area and said that we should be excited about Reischel and that he is the real deal.........

I've thought all along Reischel would start at the 3, along with Powell, X, Biruta and Hare.

I agree True. He has been under the radar for the last year. What an unbelievable amount of depth this team has!
