Nice! A Personal Call From....

Xavier Munford, thanking me for being a supporter.
Told him I was his biggest fan.
I guess all the players are calling season ticket holders.
Nice touch, URI!!!

I just received a personal call from Eric Youncofski!

Very pleasant and well spoken, he thanked me for my support of Rhody Athletics and hoped (hahaha!) to see me at "a few" basketball games this Winter.

Little did he know I am a Rhody Hoops Zealot who begs for chances to watch his teammates PRACTICE in July!

Told him he will enjoy a much more exciting atmosphere at the Ryan Center which all of his teammates rightfully deserve. The fans can't wait to get behind the team as it begins to win more and more frequently while playing an exciting style.

I know I'm going to be a big fan of E.C., but he really needs to get rid of that Fielder shirt....

BTW, that's a great idea. Have any of you season ticket holders received phone calls in the past? (my guess is no.)

Just got a call from EC, and I'm not even a season ticket holder yet! A donor yes, though.

My recently ex wife could never understand my support of Rhody athletics, and my interest in this board. That's one of the many reasons she's my ex wife.

I also remember a player calling pre-Hurley. Can't think of who it was though.

I just got calls from Jerelle and Mike Powell! November can't come soon enough! Told them I was going to try and make the open practice. I think they appreciated that.

It must not be the easiest thing for these guys
to be calling strangers out of the blue.
Still, a very nice gesture by RhodyMBB

It's little things like that(DH with the pizzas) that will make a difference. Attention to detail. Successful programs do all the little things well.

My callerID shows that I got a call from the URI development office when I wasn't home. They didn't leave a message, but I presume this was one of the calls.

My called ID read, Go Rhody. I figured it was about
season tickets, so it was a nice surprise to hear X on the other end.

If you donated to the basketball program this year, you should have received (or will be receiving) a personally signed thank you letter from Dan Hurley. Such an awesome touch.

To expand on Smarty’s post: Also, if you donated to the Italy trip, you should have received a postcard signed by several players and Dan Hurley. Classy touch. This staff definitely knows how to do things the right way.

Awesome! My donation was not earmarked for the Italy trip, but that's even cooler.

Great things happening.
