That would be a good landing spot for him.

I don’t remember exactly but something about he heard reports that ish might be looking at Georgetown.
Now he just tweeted
To be fair I don’t recall if it was a quote of another tweet or not.

So Rhody Vault reported Leggett was looking at Georgetown, then he later deleted his tweet and then he blamed the reason for deleting the inaccurate tweet stating Leggett was the source of the report he was looking at Georgetown?steviep123 wrote: ↑1 year ago I don’t remember exactly but something about he heard reports that ish might be looking at Georgetown.

Re: URI 2023 Transfers - Who Will Stay and Who Will Go?
Not quite. Series of events seems to be: 1) A pair of Georgetown-related Twitter accounts say that Leggett was visiting that day. 2) RV repeats that. 3) Leggett gets on Twitter and says that he's not visiting Georgetown that day. 4) RV pulls his tweet, citing Leggett as the source for the initial tweet being untrue. So, still RV's "fault" for just aggregating / RT information without trying to verify it at all, but he wasn't "blaming" Leggett for it.ramster wrote: ↑1 year agoSo Rhody Vault reported Leggett was looking at Georgetown, then he later deleted his tweet and then he blamed the reason for deleting the inaccurate tweet stating Leggett was the source of the report he was looking at Georgetown?steviep123 wrote: ↑1 year ago I don’t remember exactly but something about he heard reports that ish might be looking at Georgetown.

I'm not concern who leaves and where they go... I'm interested in who is coming to URI.

Re: URI 2023 Transfers - Who Will Stay and Who Will Go?
why do u say that? Pitt had a good year last year. Before that 7 or 8 years ago was their last one. Has Coach Capel accomplished much with his chances?Have a very high profile 4 star shooting guard coming in. Playing a guard at the 3 in the ACC is not the norm as it is in the A 10. His minutes will probably go down and I’m guessing his close in baskets will also go down with the big bodies in the ACC.NYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑1 year ago Ish will not find a better situation for himself than here. The kid schedules a visit to Pitt, and now some here make judgement calls on what is best for his future.
Let's see, he is the top player on a team that finished 14th in a weak A10.
After 3 lousy seasons, can't blame him for checking out other options.
But of course, would love to see him return.

Pitt is willing to spend to win. From the Sporting News on the UofM deals:
This is the world of NIL-funded recruiting — one the Hurricanes have deftly navigated en route to another deep NCAA Tournament run. It's a controversial topic in the sport, with recently retired Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim accusing the Hurricanes, among other teams, of buying their players.
"Pittsburgh bought a team. OK, fine. My [big donor] talks about it, but he doesn't give anyone any money. Nothing," Boeheim said in February. "Not one guy. Our guys make like $20,000. Wake Forest bought a team. Miami bought a team."
Ish is probably there because they pay. Word travels fast

He's pretty much a lock for minutes and points here like he would be no place else.
For clarification...going to a P5 team and averaging 7-10 minutes a game is not a better situation than this, imo...

Aside from his ability to score (and many teams keyed on him), he is an excellent defender, shoots FTs at 85%, and is a good rebounder. Plus an extremely hard worker with great character.
All of these above coach's love.
In addition, he might want to go to a team that can participate in the post-season and who knows what NIL $ come into play.
Or he may just want a change of scenery.

Re: URI 2023 Transfers - Who Will Stay and Who Will Go?
He won't get more minutes, or anywhere near as meaningful minutes, where he can rack up some points...more so than in Kingston. Where is he going to play, that's more high profile (admittedly, not a high bar) AND where he can come close to the stats he put up last year (much higher bar)? Unless Arch conveyed otherwise, I'd think he'll be back just because of that. Where does he go where he can score 16/game? Does he want to go somewhere cool and score 8, or 10? He stays.Jersey77 wrote: ↑1 year agoYou shouldn't underestimate Ish; he will get much more minutes than you think.NYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑1 year agoTotally. I agree if he trades up to a bigger and better program with a larger stage, his minutes and #'s probably won't be the same as here.
But to have a chance to be a solid part at a higher level may be more important to him.
Like I said before the portal even opened, Archie's toughest job this off-season would be to try and keep Ish.

I just don't think he's going to want to average less than the 16 he did this year, if he can at all help it. Would want to stay in the mid teens at least. Where is he going to go do that, at a place more high profile than here? 2. PCs backcourt has way too many players I don’t honestly know why he would go there even, they technically will run out of scholarships if the Breed situation gets dropped and Ike commits this weekend lmfao
