I hope you're right.RhowdyRam02 wrote: ↑1 year agoI do. Look at schools winning in the A10 now, they're keeping most of their players. EC, Jared, and Jeff will be the last 3 inducted into the Ring of Honor? Good lord, melodramatic much?
Maybe URI should just shut down the basketball program or leave division 1? I mean reading this message board it's become obvious that we can't possibly ever compete in division 1 basketball ever again

Here’s the thing - maybe it is just how I think and give posters the benefit of the doubt - but no where in Dino’s post do I read that he said they were not working prior to Ish going in the portal. Inferring that is an assumption. That said, Dino, please feel free to come along and clarify what you meant if you feel the need to.NYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑1 year agoI think you're right...I was there at BV, reading the board, and I saw them and asked about the tweet showing Ish hitting the Portalet. Uh idk and how is it not a good omen, the kid played his heart out this year and doesn’t want to stick around and waste the rest of his years on losing teams, pretty similar to fatts when he left after his fourth year, but I think he’s challenging Archie to get him a supporting cast and if he doesn’t he’s gone, and I will say the coaching staff has been working hard ever since ish posted he’s transferring this afternoon, hearing rumblings about visits being set up soon for a particular player, but we shall wait and see as I don’t know if it’s 100% confirmed
I just wanted to jump in briefly and point that out. No big deal. Not being critical of anyone’s post. Carry on.

Your correct JD, they’ve been working hard nonstop the past couple of weeks, I’ve heard they’ve kicked it into overdrive right as Ish entered the portalJdrums#3 wrote: ↑1 year agoHere’s the thing - maybe it is just how I think and give posters the benefit of the doubt - but no where in Dino’s post do I read that he said they were not working prior to Ish going in the portal. The most “very happy” transfer we’ve been linked to IMO is Timberlake from Towson.

I could see Pride and Battle on the floor at the same time, Temple was playing three guard sets, the other guards would always get the ball to Battle when they themselves didn't have open looks. He wants the ball in his hands like lots of players we've had in the past, Fatts, Mobley, Tyson for that matter. It's not a bad thing for a 2-guard to stroke it.

I would be all over him for an upgrade in the frontcourt, averaged a double/double, with good size and great strength.
2-years eligibility, 55% FG
He was NY Prep.

Do we still think we have Jaquan Sanders on the way?
If so then I still think you need one of those other shooters to commit before you take Zid Powell.
Battle, Sanders and Powell would be good along with a PG.

Given coaching changes result in a lot of player transfers, which PC players are likely to enter the portal after Cooley leaves?
