Stevey, he (Weston) definitely is playing better - especially since the conf slate started. Although, he had a rough game last time out.

Hopefully, he continues to get better and get more comfortable out there because we need him - especially the next few years.

I love our fight but we are light years away from NCAA Tourney level basketball. GM (came in winless on the road and a 133 NET) isn’t even an NIT team and they came in to Kingston and beat us solidly wire to wire.

Losing is brutal. I hope I am here to enjoy it when we get back to the NCAA Tourney.

We have a few pieces...and a couple of bigs who aren't playing who could be good....but way too many who aren't A10 level talents. Archie knows what he needs by now....I think the potential is there for major improvement next season if he can get a few more pieces.

We may be looking at another off-season with a lot of player turnover which then will lead to the they need to learn the stupid pack line excuse. Since it requires everyone in sync and seems like you can only add in a few pieces each season. Is Xavier utilizing the pack line? If they are, how did they figure it out so fast?

Haven’t read anything yet, but the fact Archie put in Thomas for Leggett with 5 minutes left makes less than zero sense.

First possession Thomas is in, he travels. Comes right back out.

I’m not in the “trust Archie with everything” camp.

Sebastian Thomas should not be going in for Freeman or Leggett late in the second half in a close game. Ever.

I wish Weston was more involved in the second half, but Bray put on a show.

Ish is always solid

Our frontcourt is brutal.

Rory has hit a 3 in back-to-back games. Coming in and at least keeping the defense honest so our guards could drive was the role I envisioned. I think many others on here felt the same way. He has a long way to go to get his body and strength to where it needs to be, but it doesn't hurt to have someone that can hit a 3.

Samb looks like he has regressed.

Tchikou was the best defender but got into foul trouble.

I hate to say it, but I thought Archie made a few mistakes yet again. His biggest mistake is the roster he built for this year.

I think we are all numb to this at this point. It sucks, but I expected to lose.

Archie simply doesn't have many options with this group.
Bassy has a place on this team next year. That place is near the end of the bench.
We dont even have a solid starting five yet. That is job one...and then build some quality depth.
Rome wasn't built in a day.

Just got home from Ryan - - with you 100% Stevey, we just have no front court at all on both sides of the court. It's devastating to this team.

Pretty nice turnout today all things considered, I'd say at least a half-full arena. Good (thankless) job to EZ as he mentioned he is battling a cold. The Newport Propane thing cracks me up every time, it's become a running joke in our family!
