1. Just be an awesome talent that cannot be ignored and just elevates the entire team's performance when you are in.

Or

2. Just happen to be the glue that allows the overall team to climb out of a 10 point deficit on the road, then you really should just keep going with that unless the player does something obviously, horribly wrong.

I think we are witnessing this second one out there today.
