You must not have actually seen the commercial- the Rhody mascot is clearly there (along with VCU’s Rodney and UNC’s Rameses) and is called out by name.

I had a grad assistant gig with Clay Sink. He asked me how can we up the profile of URI. This was 1998. I told him, go to Keaney Gym. Read USA Today. This University is National. It's BASKETBALL! I also told him the the weeds and crap are covering the granite sign we just put in at the entrance of Upper College road.
