No Grasso. Clueless half court offense.

We've had enough of that here.

Hopefully Charles Pride wants to up transfer 30 minutes from Smithfield.

Kid would be our best guard. Hell of a game by him.

Bryant not Dancing

Why did Grasso have them purposely foul being only down 3 with 51 seconds, didn't make sense to me?

Dakich was right on when he was begging Grasso to get away from the zone. Mt St Mary’s was carving it up. Way too many easy looks.

Gonzaga is still the biggest mystery in college basketball history. Undefeated season. No idea how a program this small is so consistent and #1 in the country lol.

What was the purpose of Kiss taking his jersey off after he foiled out? It seemed to draw attention to himself at a time when Bryant was still in the game. Camera kept going to him on the bench then he finally put the shirt back on. Surprised the Refs didn’t make Kiss out his shirt. Suck on or have Grasso do it. Seemed he was kissed at the Refs and showing them up.

For all the talk about Bryant I want too impressed, nor impressed by Grasso.

Bid was right there playing a (11-10) team at home. Opportunity missed.

This may be unfair, since it was my first time watching Bryant, but I came away not liking Kiss much. Even before the foul out and subsequent removal of the jersey, I was a bit turned off by his on court demeanor. Also, he could have been t’d up for offensive language after that fifth foul. I have to believe the officials heard it, with no fans to drown it out, but let it go due to the magnitude of the game. (Good move, if that was the case.). A fifth year senior should exhibit more maturity than that.
That said, he played hard. He’s probably one of those players you love if he’s on your team but hate if he’s on the opposition.

I agree with you on Kiss. Ref easily could have given him a Technical. He made all the attention be on him when his team still had a very legit chance to win the game. Didn’t like his attitude, his “it’s all about me” temper tantrum. Didn’t seem like a team player to me. He didn’t impress me with his play either after all the local press he has been receiving.

If PC wins they get UConn.

Season over. With Villanova's injury issues, I expect UConn to at least make the BE title game.

They have to go through Creighton. Villanova’s on the other side of the bracket. Their injuries have nothing to do with UConn making the title game.

True. Creighton is the canary in the coal mine for UConn.

Anyway, UConn is in, they are playing for seeding in the dance.

My guess is anywhere from a 6 to a 9 seed depending on the conference tourney results.

They don't want an 8 or 9 and end up in Gonzaga's bracket.

Not even, this is way worse.

PC was picked to finish 3rd with two All league performers, and according to Clueless Cooley, they were supposed to be prepared for this game when they played the perennial powerhouse Farleigh Dickinson.

Cooley just left the court? He didn't even go through the line to shake Dave Laito's hand? Never ceases to amaze me.
Cooley is a piece of work
So happy that he is Coach for Life there
Depaul is horrible. (4-13) coming into this game. NET of 165
  • Gantt 0-2 FG, no rebounds, 1 point
  • Reeves 2-4 FG, 3 rebounds, 6 points
  • Duke 2-9 FG, 0-4 3PFG, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 7 points
These 3 guys were all highly ranked HS players and just played terrible tonight in the biggest game of the year.

Bynum is slow, cannot shoot, got beat badly on defense

Goodine got beaten badly on defense, why is Cooley playing him so much tonight? Were the others that bad?

15-29 FTs for 51.7%

Ed can go focus on his weight loss and hit the links at the Warwick Country Club and Wannamoisett Country Club. Coach for Life - what a deal.

Whatever became of Cooley's "Focus Machine"?

Pathetic that this program has fallen to a place in 3 years where rooting for a Friars elimination is the highlight of the year...

But at least we never ducked our rival in pursuit of an at-large resume, only to lose in the first round of a conference tournament for a 3-4 bid league.
