Fordham's hurry up offense is 1 shot with 1 second on the 24 second clock.

Win or lose it has just not been enjoyable to watch this team unfortunately.
Please get better.

Re: 1/24 | Fordham | 2:30PM (NBCSN)
We let Fordham dictate how the game was played. That was poor coaching.
A lot of Fatts apologists saying see, just imagine how this team will be next year. A. This performance is what we've looked like all year. B. If the team is going to be this bad next year, why give Cox another year?
It's time to move on in Kingston

Not very excited about this win, most other teams would of destroyed us today.
Another disappointing performance by AB, he has been very underwhelming as of late.

Is Sheppard coming back? With him graduating as well, we will be near the bottom of the A10. I don't understand how people think we land a bid. I truly don't understand.theblueram wrote: ↑3 years ago That team, without Fatts, is going to embarrassed next year if something doesn't change.

Maybe without Fatts, Cox will be forced to implement some actual plays that result in open looks!

Sheppard turns 24 this summer. He was a freshman when Dowtin and Langevine were. He might just be done with the college thing by the end of this season.steveystuds06 wrote: ↑3 years agoIs Sheppard coming back? With him graduating as well, we will be near the bottom of the A10. Re: 1/24 | Fordham | 2:30PM (NBCSN)
If Shep doesn’t come back next year we are in trouble. Need a second player with Ish that can drive and handle the ball. I was hoping Betrand was going to be that guy based on DCs descriptiom of him being on Fatts level but i haven’t seen it. He’s a nice add to the team but doesn’t look like a player that will take over a game like Fatts.Rhody15 wrote: ↑3 years agoReally really hoping he does, I’ve been impressed with him this season.steveystuds06 wrote: ↑3 years agoIs Sheppard coming back? Re: 1/24 | Fordham | 2:30PM (NBCSN)
Since I graduated in the 90’s, I’ve either attended, watched on tv or listened to the audio stream of EVERY URI game, not missing a single game. Today, that streak unfortunately came to an end in the 2nd half as I just couldn’t watch anymore and found the NFL game to be a much better option. I donate to the program every year and make the 2.5 hour trip to the Ryan Center at any chance I can (sometimes by myself with no ticket) but I just couldn’t watch what I’m seeing anymore. I know we didn’t have Fatts and I know we have a new roster (yawn), but there is just no semblance of anything that leads me to believe we are close to being a team who will compete with the top of the A10 in the near future, I really hope I’m wrong and Cox figures this out and I know for sure I’ll still be at the Ryan Center cheering for whoever is wearing a URI jersey, but this just sucks right now.

Not that our offense was smooth at all, but we did have several open looks and still threw up bricks and air-balls. Our shooting at times can be so horrific.theblueram wrote: ↑3 years agoIs that possible?Rhody22 wrote: ↑3 years agotheblueram wrote: ↑3 years ago That team, without Fatts, is going to embarrassed next year if something doesn't change.

I guess he could fill that void but haven’t seen him play and i’d probably bank on him still being unpolished. Hopefully not the case.PeteRI wrote: ↑3 years agoWhat about Tres?Rhody Sody wrote: ↑3 years agoIf Shep doesn’t come back next year we are in trouble. I don't get all the air-balls on open shots.
When a team loses a player who has the ball in his hands as much as Fatts, there is a whole different dynamic.
Will/can Fatts return next year?
AB looked great when he first became eligible, not now. Why?
Walker isn't playing well? Surprising.
Carey. Give up,

When anyone plays well, it’s more due to their own individual play. When so many guys underperform, it’s a team system issue.

Agree...between the two teams....some serious brick and airball volume. They just need a little more time to...you know....to change into a thick substance that is like jelly. : to become clear and definite.Jersey77 wrote: ↑3 years agoNot that our offense was smooth at all, but we did have several open looks and still threw up bricks and air-balls. Shitty display across board today. Team will have to find identity without Fatts. Today was a glimpse, but practices will also be run differently without him as well. This team has always been known to play to the level of its opponent, which I hate. Not happy, but you all know me, it ain’t over til it’s over. I’ll take the ugly ass win. LaSalle is no longer a “gimme”, it may end up being another bar brawl.

That's a good question, does he retain this year's eligibility for next year due to the C-19 stuff? I think so?
Grad school? Would he want to?
Anyone have insight? Has this been discussed and I've just missed it?
