How many lay ups did we give up? Interior defense pretty putrid. This is something new we have to clean up big time. No worries as it does not seem to bother the coach. What can he do to try and fire up the team?

St. Joes works the ball nice and finds the right guys. We continue to play out of control and sloppy much of the time. I will just take a win period at this point, sorry Ramster.

We really suffer not working the ball nicely. Every offensive "set" seems random.

It makes little sense. We always have periods where we look lights out. We had great passing and great energy for like 5 minutes to take that lead and then its like we forgot how.

Problem with this team right now is that no one player is problem free. Cox wants to shorten the lineup but who do you even go with? Whether it’s turnovers, missed defensive assignments, Sheppard missed wide open layup, Harris trying to go 1 on 3 on the fast break, etc etc list goes on and on

I’m doing my best to extend Cox every single benefit of the doubt, mostly because I genuinely like him and want him to succeed, but I can’t figure out how his teams can continually make the same mistakes game after game with no adjustments. We clearly have mismatches that we can exploit with a depleted winless team but yet we continue to Jack up 3’s and play into exactly what Joe’s wants. I’m baffled at how Cox has yet to figure out how to attack a zone. I’m sorry but at this point in the season you have to have a sense of who can play and who should be on the floor. Cox clearly is not getting through to his players.

........must be due to so many new layers, some many transfers, gotta gel, have to get used to each other........cause it is still early yet.......

Fatts a selfish 1-6 from the field and 0-3 from three and we're losing to a dog shit team. Those two things are highly correlated. If Fatts is going to continue to insist on taking the most shots and going to continue to shoot poorly we're going to continue to suck. It would be great if Cox could get through to him at this point, but why would he bother to try now?

We have a lot of guards especially with Betrand getting eligible so its hard to see Ish increasing his playing time. I would play Fatts less minutes until he is 100 percent healthy. I am not ready to give up on any of our players.
