Agree. Could see that coming a mile away. I like the Mitchell’s but they do need to learn sometimes passing it back out and trying to get better position again is a better play than forcing one up.

Cox knew he had the auto timeout at 16 minutes, that’s why he didn’t call it. Auto (commercial) time out came at 15:50 or thereabouts.

Win or lose this is the second game in a row where we were not prepared to play from the tip. Before Wisconsin was added - we had TWO WEEKS to be ready for this game.

Shameful.

9-0 run - no timeout.

Big time three to get some momentum going? TIME OUT. WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING!?

We do not have a forwards coach. All our big men (except the Mitchell’s) do not know how to go up with the ball.

Why do we keep going at Bassey??? WHY. MAKE A GOD DAMN ADJUSTMENT.

I really really reallllly hope Makhi is out for only a few weeks. If we lose him it will be a long winter.

It’s comments like this that make me scratch my head. Mitchell is trying to do what big men do. A coach will never say, he’s better than you stop trying. We have 3 bigs. One is now hurt. The other has a bad wheel. Maybe it’s the word repercussions...he need to adjust his attack. Make him FOUL you.

Now, granted...I feel the same way you do, he should absolutely pass, but I think they need to start going into his chest and stop trying to shoot over him.

Right. But he got two timeouts. The timeout that comes with every 4 minutes at 16,12,8 and 4. He got the auto TO at 15:50 with stop in action. Then he called another timeout following the auto timeout. He felt he needed two.
