Well we have let him shoot three completely wide open shots. Not surprised he made them. 35 percent isn't that horrible of a shooter.

It's also interesting about your frontline - where UW usually has a matchup advantage on the offensive end is with 2 really skilled 6'10" guys (Reuvers/Potter). It would be nice to hear from you after todays game. Always interested in views of our team from the opponents standpoint.

As has been mentioned by several posters, it is critical for Fatts Russell to play under control and share the basketball. In big games like these he can go into the hero-ball type of play. He tries to do too much by himself. I am concerned he might try to drive inside too much against your big, physical guys. He also needs to stop shooting 3's if he is off - and feed the good 3P shooters in DJ Johnson and Jeremy Sheppard.
Sheppard has played very well in his first year since transferring. He has been taking more and more control of the Point Guard duties. Shoots the 3P well, drives well with the ability to shoot with either hand and he is an astute passer. Also strong defensively.
Antwan Walker has played well this year both defensively and offensively. Good rebounding and blocking shots.
The Mitchell twins have improved greatly since the 1st two games.
David Cox subbed Malik Martin for Jalen Carey in game 3 as well as Makhel Mitchell subbed for Makhel Mitchell in Game 3. After losing the 1st two games to ASU and BC we have won 3 straight with these 2 starting lineup changes continuing.
Leggett is playing better each game. He is a very promising freshman. Shoots, drives, passes and defends well.

Leaving Mitchell in after 2 fouls isn't ideal. Should've put Makhel in after number 2.

3 is no bueno with no Harris to eat some fouls.

We are going to have to speed the pace of this game up a lot or this will never be close. We can not just go back-and-forth with them trading turns on half court possessions. We will get killed in that type of game.

Down 11 under 12 we need to turn things around quick or it could be a long afternoon

Omigosh...I forgot all about The Weave. Glad to not see it...kinda seems like the thing you run when you can't think of what to do. Even tho, last year at times, it was the better option....

Wisconsin defense as advertised so far. Thry have to work for every open look.

Would rather see Walker take that shot than put it on the floor 20 feet away (pass would be ideal but I'll take the miss over a turnover)

Big man foul trouble already, that’s not ideal. Seem to be playing decent defense so far, unfortunately decent looks are not going down on the offensive end.
