They shouldn't practice motion offense, which involves cutting and slashing, on a surface that shreds knee ligaments. Edwards effectively ended his career cutting and slashing in sand. Maybe they should practice basketball on a basketball court.
So the paved outdoor basketball courts are preferable for injury prevention?

No one knows...I'm pretty sure we're living in the time of the origin of basketball practicing....not sure anyone knows what to do here...surely someone will come up with something....

They are limited to 8 hours practice per week. Four 2 hour sessions. They are also allowed strength & conditioning.

They also do a lot of their conditioning at the beach. Do you know if the whole team is here now?

Briefly saw the team practicing on Wednesday on the outdoor court by Wiley/Heathman. Leggett really looks college-ready in terms of his body. Berry looks like he’ll be a great defender, an easy 6’4 very long arms. Johnson looked taller than Walker and was consistently hitting 3’s. Didn’t really notice anything else saw around 10 minutes total

Maybe he grew and he’s 6’8-6’9 now. It will be nice to have a big wing raining 3’s . Really tough
To defend against that.

What are you so mad about and feel the need to shine light on to expose, exactly? On the whole, over the last half-dozen-plus years, the team has been consistently somewhere between pretty good and very good. There has been some roster turnover but, again on the whole, the roster seems to be well positioned to compete in the league depending on how transfer eligibility shakes out. More than that, everyone that is posting here in the middle of the offseason during a pandemic has a fairly good handle on where the program is at in terms of personnel, etc., so I don’t think anyone here has gone off the reservation in terms of blind optimism - it isn’t like we are coming off a decade of 10-20 seasons and have no talent on the roster and people are just mindlessly predicting great things. So I’m not really sure what accounts for your perpetual shitting in the punch bowl beyond naked pessimism and contrarianism. If there’s more to it than that, feel free to try to enlighten us but just dismissively scolding other posters isn’t adding much.

If the “same old same old” consists of conference championships and NCAA tourney wins, sign me up. Because, ya know, that is our programs “old” seeing how that was 3 and 4 years ago.

That's fantastic! Too bad there's no video.
