URI is now 7th Nationally with 3 Point FG defense

Back in the Hurley NCAA Tournament Team Days URI was also up among the top teams in 3 Point FG Defense

Of course Cox learned things from Hurley, and I wonder how much Hurley advised Cox to refocus on this key stat. Cox has recently had Langevine going out further to the 3 point line to play defense. Our 3 point defense has been ferocious of late.

It’s cool that we traveled all the way out here with zero plan on how to score. We haven’t even had a good look at the basket almost five minutes into the game. They aren’t going to shoot 100% for the game and we won’t shoot 0%, but in the danger zone here of just letting it get too far away.

Feels like for years uri has had these starts where they feel out other teams that are good. URI usually wins the beginning of these against all teams. Duke Maryland. All teams. I haven’t seen anything like this maybe ever.

I’m confused 15. Is Harris guarding Mikesell and Toppin? His man is Toppin. Harris also caused a ball to be thrown out of bounds.
And is Harris also responsible for Dayton hitting 4 of 5 threes? Sure, why not if it’s fits your narrative.

The entire team comes out like shit but of course you need to have your obnoxious Harris comments. I blame the coaching and the veterans for coming out looking like we don't belong. Not a 2nd year big still developing.
