Re: Week #14 - Games of Interest
Any win that P5 bubble team gets is going to be either Q1 or Q2.
We have very little room for error.

Saint Louis is a very good team. They will be a tough matchup in Brooklyn for whoever gets them. I think Richmond is a tough team too.

Also, give me the Dukes as the 3 seed in Brooklyn. Would much rather play them over the Bonnies in the semis.

Strange team and you can always expect mysteries in college basketball. Saint Louis twice gives #6 Dayton all it can handle, yet this same team loses to Davidson, loses twice to Duquesne, and barely beats La Salle, GW, and St. Joe's. You can say the same about our Rams, I guess.

Huge win for USF on the road at Memphis. Would be big bubble competition for us - now they have a bad loss

Re: Week #14 - Games of Interest
Arkansas a lost to vs a short handed Missouri team, though they also have top player out. Lunardi has them as a 9 seed, but they are no where near a cinch, few tough games left. From here on out, you will see teams bounce in and out , outside of the very top seeds.

Re: Week #14 - Games of Interest
We all need to be huge VCU fans from here on out.
They're currently sitting at 32 in the NET and if they can get inside the Top 30 to give us another Q1 win, it could bump us up a whole seed.

Bonnies schedule down the stretch is way easy, they could creep up and even take the 2 seed if we don’t take care of business.

I get one road game...but way easy, I disagreeRhody15 wrote: ↑4 years agoOnly St Louis on the road, rest at home.
However I do agree with you that the bonnies are dangerous, they could creep up if we get sloppy

Wow what an ending to the Brown/Harvard game! Brown wins it, basically at the buzzer, on an and-1 with the made FT.

Re: Week #14 - Games of Interest
I'm still not sure if Jones meant to hit the front of the rim like that, but that was an incredible play. I know he missed on purpose, but hard to believe if that was exactly how they intended for it to work out. Amazing.

Duke-UNC game was crazy as usual.
Long Island with a nice win today snapping Merrimack’s 9 game win streak.

Watching the Pee Cee/Xavier game and I definitely saw an “I want to speak to the manager” lady behind the Xavier bench with what I assure you is a Truly. For anyone counting how many areas allow booze in your seat.

Alabama fans could be at the optometrist, or get asked what is 5+5 and in either situation they would just say “Roll Tide!”PeterRamTime wrote: ↑4 years ago Theres a person with an Alabama hoodie on sitting behind the Xavier bench.

Re: Week #14 - Games of Interest
PC and Xavier suck offensively. In the past three 1/2 minutes (from 5:00 to 1:33) there has been one FG.
In 14 possessions the was 1 FG and 3 FTs

Syracuse is totally just peeing this game away. That's ok, they still have 2 play in games left (@LOU, @FSU), plus the ACCT...

Re: Week #14 - Games of Interest
Xavier has 3 mid major transfers that see major minutes for them. And not 1 player who shoots FTs over 70%. In OOC they didn’t beat anyone that is in the tourney. Pillow soft

X had a weak OOC and is below .500 in Conference yet has a 46 NET...explain? GTown and DePaul...similar stories. Seems great NET by association.

We look way better than Xavier and Providence. They have no idea how to execute on offense.
