Dicey...even if you do call, sometimes they don't really know what you're talking about...you could get someone who just says, 'yeah, we do'...because they think they get "all the ESPNs"..... Good luck!

I’m really not feeling confident about this game. Those two weeks concern me. I’m big on keeping momentum and that break feels like a momentum drain.

Things that eliminate that concern for me:
Fatts had time to heel
I think Jeff will reset and get to last year’s playing level
This is an experienced team that will manage thru the layoff
WKU lost their best player and has only played a game vs a D2 team

Yeah the purple thing is a bit weird. I don't own anything purple either. This game is one we need to take. The team needs to start making a statement cause we are in zero discussions regarding the tournament.

David Cox feels the break has helped.

The Rams brought in referees to officiate an intrasquad scrimmage last Saturday, attempting to maintain some game sharpness ahead of the visit from the Hilltoppers.

“We had a good scrimmage against one another a few days ago,” URI guard Jeff Dowtin said. “We kind of got our rhythm back and got our groove back. The break has been good to us.”

A lot to like happened in that first half (Walker, Harris and Martin) but it was counterbalanced by Fatts getting off slow and WKU getting a huge advantage in terms of FT attempts. Doubt those two negatives will hold up another half. Glad we are up a point considering, hoping we can run away with it.

Cyril has been playing fine, just hasn't really been involved in the offense.

The WKU coach just got a tech which I find to be the most amazing thing...this has been the most one-sidedly bad officiating game of the year. WKU wouldn’t be in the game at all if it weren’t for the lousy officiating.
