The middle of the conference looks pretty decent compared to last season, at least at this point.

Will likely have several teams in that low 100's in NET. None will be easy games especially on the road.

We have to expect a couple of slipups. The key is to not lose to any of the bottom feeders. Here's looking at you Fordham.

Would love to win 2 out of the 3 Ace mentioned. If we do, then we are in great shape headed to January.
I think they beat LSU and Providence and lose at West Virginia. Getting out of the OOC schedule with only two losses would be awesome. Still this team can’t take any game for granted, so the home game against W. Kentucky or the road game at Middle Tennessee are not automatically wins, that’s for sure.
They are underdogs in all three of those games.

That UConn/Xavier battle was a great college hoops game for sure. The Huskies are starting to look more and more like a Hurley coached team. Bouknight is definitely for real as others have stated. Oh, and I sure as hell would still like to have Brendan Adams on this team right now...

Add that to their loss against UNC Charlotte and they are hurting their at large chances.
Opens the door for Rhody to be the 3rd A10 team.
Davidson is going to be challenged in trying to finish with a good OOC record given their stumbles to start. They crafted a strong schedule but it included few true home games (3). They will play just one (Coppin St) of their remaining seven OOC games at home. The Wildcats have three neutral site games in Orlando versus Marquette, USC/Fairfield, and TBD. They also have to play at Northeastern, Loyola-Chicago, and Vanderbilt. If they are to make a run, it will have to be on the road.

Middle Tennessee is probably the worst team we play in the con conference.

For the record, In Friday action, the A-10 went a disappointing 3-5.

Missouri State edged Saint Joseph's holding off the Hawks in closing minutes to win, 71-69.

Fordham met its first bona fide opponent, Nevada, losing 74-60. Fordham trailed the entire game.

UMKC came back from a first half deficit to beat George Washington, 74-68.

Duquesne beat Air Force, 69-63 to move its record to 5-0. After these neutral site games, Duquesne will ply the remainder of its OOC schedule in the Pittsburgh area while their arena undergoes a big renovation.

George Mason suffered its first loss of season as the Patriots were outclassed at #6 Maryland, 86-63.

Richmond in a romp over McNeese, 87-57.

Davidson continues its disappointing start to season as they lose to Wake Forest, 82-70.

Last night, URI OOC opponents didn't fare much better as five lost - LSU, Nicholls, Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky and Long Island U. W. Kentucky led most of the second half against Bowling Green, but BG got the win on a jumper with 4 seconds left on clock.

Maryland, of course won, and West Virginia routed BU, 69-44. 6-9, 285 lbs. forward Oscar Tshiebwe scored 21 points and snared 10 rebounds. He will be a handful for Cyril & Harris.

In an otherwise encouraging start for the A10, the one blight had been Bonnies. They continue to disappoint today with their loss to Canisius. If they’re going to be bad in OOC, the one thing I hope for all (non-URI) A10 teams is that they have the decency to remain bad during conference play and not muck things up for teams with postseason aspirations.

The Purple Aces have gone 1-3 since their win at Kentucky with their lone win coming against non D1 Indiana-Kokomo right after returning from Rupp. Haven't beaten a D1 team after UK with three straight losses to SMU, ECU, and GW.

How would it be different than our comeback win yesterday? Wouldn’t you rather beat a good PC team. We have this same conversation every year.

PC has many chances for good wins in conference.

Penn isn't terrible.

This doesn't disqualify them from the dance at all....yet.

Of course we know that the BE is always overhyped every year going into the tourney.

They don't have a great team in the league this year...but you know they will have a bunch of teams with NET under 60.....

PC might actually be a worse shooting team than us and thats saying something. Cooley wasn't lying when he said they would build that program "brick by brick", cause that is all this team shoots is bricks. Still they have opportunities for quality wins in the BE, but they certainly need to play better, they do not seem to play well as a team.

Now those same people will be mad at him instead of the player. I like that to take the focus off of Gilbert. They’re really getting behind this team thing, they don’t even come out individually when introduced. Not sure if I like that or if it will continue, but its something the players wanted to do. It’s been a wild 6 games. A lot has happened across the sport to still only be in November.

As of now I only see it on their website.

Which means we would have to pay to watch it.

How can it not be nationally televised?
