I love Preston..guys just a good dude.
Hilarious that it was a "hard decision," to stay at your alma mater for an actual coach instead of go to bumblef--k, NY with Jim and Billy.

If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.

I think Preston was just being polite. Doesn't sound like a hard decision at all. A great move by Hurley to keep Preston on board.

I completely agree - very hard to put a sarcastic tone through text!Ramblinrose wrote:I think Preston was just being polite. Doesn't sound like a hard decision at all. A great move by Hurley to keep Preston on board.

Preston married a Rhode Islander and I believe has lived in RI most of the time (when not playing overseas) since college in the state. I think he even still lived in RI when he worked up at BC for Skinner. He has many connections to the region. URI being his alma mater is one. His family ties hwoever are probably even more important.

Good guy. Good family man. Good coach.
(Still lives in Woonsocket, I believe.)

Preston is a fellow Cranstonian, as is Bobby Hurley.

I'm sorry, I do appreciate the interviews and all, but I cannot stand Cordishi acting so familiar with Rhody hoops all of a sudden like he's been tracking "P Murph" for years. Nothing against the guy, but how about some humility for once.
Go Rhody!!!

You cannot complain when we get no press....and as soon as these strap hangers jump on the bandwagon complain about them too.
Next thing you know Donaldson will be writing a positive column about Hurley.

Unless Preston moved recently, he lives in North Smithfield. His wife worked with mine.

P Murph lives in Cranston. His son is in school with my son. I spoke with him this past weekend and he is excited to be part of the resurgance.

To be fair, cordischi is a college hoops junkie. He is probably chummy with PM from his playing days.

Reef that would be correct. Preston jr's CLCF 4th grade football team will be playing this weekend in NH in the NE Regional semi finals.

Sean, we don't want to be fair. Don't you know Cordischi is too closely related to PC therefore we have blind hatred for him.
Shame on you, you should know better.
