The lack defensive rebounding is really hurting us over the last several minutes. Will not win the game if we cannot get the ball back off misses.

Thompson proves his worth as a leader with a methodical possession on ball. Slows into a half court set, calls the screen and hits a big 3 to put URI back on top by 1.

Huge possession here after the under 4 media timeout. Hopefully better result than the errant pass to Langevine last inbound.

Better experience? More experience, definitely. At the time I would have preferred the experience that Cox had in our program and the potential that we could extend the era that started with Hurley. I still feel that way, and I'm not sure how much better we'd be this year even if Hurley was still here. We would definitely be worse if we had hired someone with more experience, because our roster would look a lot like the one we had in Dan's first year. I get that watching your team lose can be frustrating, but I really find these complete meltdowns to be absurd.
