I thought for the A10/ESPN+ deal, all games on espn+ for a10 teams were HOME games, not away

You may be right on the home game qualification and the fact that the George Mason game at Georgia Southern tomorrow is on ESPN+ may be explained that the Sun Belt Conference where GSU has membership may have a similar deal to A-10.

Nah, it'll be on the Charleston site I posted earlier. AFAIK the deal with ESPN+ is basically that it acts as the exclusive streaming service for your team/league's home games. Other TV broadcasters can carry it, but not other streaming platforms. So basically, if you see a game is available on another streaming service, its not gonna be available on ESPN+. They also do some production and equipment stuff but that's school/league specific. Some teams get the ESPNU graphics, stings etc. Some do everything in-house, or have another TV production crew (like us with Cox...errr I mean Yurview

) and just use ESPN+ for streaming it OTT.

It's not so much home/away as it is who is broadcasting the game. For example, if Cox was broadcasting an away game then ESPN+ could stream it because their deal is with the A10 and its broadcast partners. ESPN+ can't stream a broadcast from a team/network it doesn't have a deal with.

Right exactly. Was trying to say that but did it in a bass ackwards way.

URI has lost its last five straight true road OOC games - at Alabama, Nevada, Houston, PC, and Valpo. Its last win was three years ago at Brown in OT 88-85 on 12/30/15. It lost its other two road games that season as well (Nebraska, ODU). Winning road games is not an easy feat. Rhody's last five years of true OOC road games record of 4-12 confirms this.

They use Stretch, which is a decent streaming platform (used by a lot of area D3 schools). It incorporates stats/scoreboard into the laptop viewing interface (there is also an option to just go fullscreen without that stuff). The video itself is pretty basic but definitely passable for something free. Here's what it looks like:

Agree, going to be a tough game and RF1's post showing the teams out of conference record on the road the last few years is startling, considering how good they have been the last couple of years. Expecting a close game and hoping the boys come through at the end to win a nail biter. It would ge a good win.

I wonder if it would be on Prime TV also? I have the app on my TV, not a Fire Stick itself. I'll have to check when I get home if it would be on there, too.

Also available on Roku if you do not have the Fire Stick, just type in CAA.tv into the Roku Channel Store and download it for free. Very easy. Go Rhody! Gonna be a tough one tonight.

I watched the Charleston vs W Carolina game.
Rhody can beat this team. W Carolina missed two FTs and turned it over near the end. WCU was up 8 with 10 mins to go.

The unknown is Rhody. We will start to see what type of team they be can from tonight’s game. I know it’s early.

Some info on CoC. They have two star players (Riller & Brantley). They start a Redshirt Fr & Fr. They start 3 Gs. The big guy 6’10” they start can’t score - he has zero points in two games. They bring some big guys off the bench 6’7”/6’8” 235. Riller is 6’3” with some size and he likes to drive. My guess is Thompson covers him. The orher two Gs are 6’1” & 6’2”. The Fr is pretty good. Brantley is 6’7” with size. They list him at 255. I think he seems more like Preston’s size. He spent more time outside than I expected.

We could see more of Dana and Preston covering Brantley.

Yeah my stream is coming in as good as a internet stream could. Better then not seeing the game at all. Think last couple years streams were a whole lot worse.
