URI staff is trying to fill one of the current open spots - go into season with 12 scholarship players. If they don’t get another player, they will look at mid year transfers. Most likely there will be three spots for ‘20 recruits.

Of all the AAU games I watched this year, Cheeks is in my memory for the best pass I saw all summer. He played for Expressions Elite

Played HS at Mount Pleasant

I wonder if he stays with Robert Morris after this season. Ranked 14 in NERR but could rise.

I think you are wrong, just no in-person contact.
Recruits and coaches can communicate via phone, social media, and e-mail.

Again not sure this also applies to transfers.

Exactly. The conference needs to get better and start winning some meaningful OOC games if we want to be more than a 1 bid conference. The more good players and the more good coaches, the better.

I am hoping for the A10 to try and get the best talent they can.
Just want Archie to do better than the rest.

And yes, we can't complain about being a 1-bid league and then not want our conference rivals and top tier teams to get good players.

Unfortunately, this season like the past couple it looks like the trade-off in the portal is not looking good for the A10.

No idea. We lost a few WRs from last season, so he could get a good shot this year. I'll have my eye on him during the blue/white scrimmage in a couple of weeks.
