So I guess we would have been right in there had we played MIchigan

Kansas should take care of the Ducks they are loaded

Whether or not we'd be able to hang with Kansas is a whole other story....

This Kansas-Purdue game is a stinker.
Swanigan is going out on a sub-par game.
He's far better than he's shown in this game.
Kansas' backcourt is about as good as it gets.
Oregon at full strength might have had too much
size for Kansas, but not so much now.
This isn't the Duck's team that had a 40 point lead on Arizona,
blowing them out in January.
That truly was, an awe inspiring performance.
They are still a really good team, though.

Maybe so...he's at least very underrated.

Just as Xavier has been the most underrated program in college basketball for a while now.

Hate that Xavier and Gonzaga have to play each other.
The winner I'll definitely be rooting for to win the whole thing.

Sean Miller.
His teams seem to under perform during NCAAs.
One of the very best programs in the NCAA, year after year.
Loaded with talent, always.
They've won over 30 games 3 of the last 4 seasons.
Won the PAC 12 championship four times.
Yet, he's never been past the Elite 8.
Nobody seems to mention this, but we hear it
often with regards to Mark Few and Gonzaga.
I remember Miller when he was a slick point guard on
some good Pitt teams.
One of those players who made the most of his talent.
He was like a coach on the court.
Kind of destined to be a coach, even then.

Yes, he was the head coach at Xavier from 2004-2009.
He became coach of Xavier for the season after their 2004 Elite 8 run. Thad Matta was the coach for that. Matta left for Ohio State, then Miller (who was an assistant at X from 2001-2004) took over. I initially thought both of X's previous Elite 8s were under Miller, but he was an assistant for the first one.

Pretty badass how Chris Mack who was an assistant under Miller at Xavier, just beat Miller at the school he left Xavier for.

What a war going on, now.
The talent level in the Kentucky-UCLA game is
other worldly.
Same with UNC.
I really like Justin Jackson's game.
Does just about everything well.

Yeah - Strongly dislike Ball's father's antics, but man, his game is so pretty to watch. He can really shoot it, but he's also a great passer too.

Fox obliterated Ball 39-10 in the battle of point guards.
Kentucky had 6 turnovers, Ball had 4 for UCLA.
Fox and Monk dominated the second half.
Kentucky gave a clinic on how to break a press,
late in the game.
Leaf is a terrific big for UCLA.
Now, we'll see how much Alford loves LA.
Kentucky-UNC will be another war.
Looks like three Elite 8s for the SEC.
Sorry to see Wisconsin leave.

Ball doesn't play D. The two guys he covered combined for 60 points.
Both Fox and Monk beat him around screens to drive to the basket.
Great passer.
He had 8 points with a minute left in the game.

I've seen him play about 10 times this year.
He does some things well, but I don't get
all the "transcendent player" hype around him.
His father needs to put a sock in it.
Like, his son is already better than Steph Curry.
Averaged 2.2 ppg. when he played and claims he could
have beaten Jordan, one on one.
Maybe he meant Jordan Hare?

Wisky-Florida is the game of the tournament right now. Helps that I don't have a preference who wins, just enjoying an absolutely entertaining battle. Also helps that Wisconsin has 4 guys that have already been a part of 2 Final Four teams. Hugely underseeded this year.

Always liked Wisconsin in March.
This year, for some reason, they always seemed to
be on TV on Sunday.
I remember Al McGuire yelling,"STOP THE BALL!"
Wisconsin never stopped the ball on the final play.
Chiozza just went by Hayes at midcourt.
No Wisconsin player ever got in front of him.
Those 10 missed free throws will haunt them for a long time.

Ky-UCLA probably had as much talent on the floor as you'll see for a college hoops game anywhere and Fox was just amazing. And I had not seen Ball play for a whole game all year, but there is definitely something special about how he sees the floor and passes...

The more that comes out about what a bolloon (boar + loon) the senior Ball is...the more I wonder why Alford would stay.

Dumbest defensive moves in reg/ot in the wis fla game. Both teams looked like statues when the other team scored. It was not like uri Dayton or nova big win last season where every one set in place. Why didn't Wisconsin just foul and let him shoot two.?no harm at all

They didn't foul, because they were ahead by 2,
were in deep foul trouble and Koenig was cramping.
No way the could have won a second OT.

Kind of validates us, don't you think?

We can play with anybody......could anyone imagine US in that situation?

Wouldn't take much imagination......

If that was us beating Kansas to reach the Final Four.....maybe I could finally forget all the other heartbreaking defeats we've suffered in the NCAAT.

Damn, I've got a really good chance to win my pool this year and get a couple grand from that. Oregon winning would not kill me but make it more difficult. I've picked every game correct in that regional so far (sorry but there was little upside to picking URI over Oregon) so hopefully Kansas will come back here...

The way those Oregon players acted vs us I can't believe you guys are rooting them a week later!

My guess is that the refs tonight turn on them in the 2nd half and try to get Kansas back into the game.
