We have the athletes to do it now. Force tempo!!!

He has been saying that for years, though. "Now we can finally play how we want." We are on at least year 3 of that. Show me don't tell me.

It's really not that hard to understand why he said that last year. He wants his team playing in a tough environment to prepare them for life on the road in the conference.

Yeah I mean, when you're the "underdog" (though that is debatable) you can say its a big deal so when you win it is, well a big deal. When you are the favorite you want to play it off like its just another game. I don't have much issue with his comments.

I think Dan's quotes reflect the feelings on the board. Team played tight, didn't play at pace we wanted, bench needs to play/contribute more.

Can you explain Hurley's comment on EC - clear as mud.

Hurley on Mathews "with EC we've talked with him about being patient with himself. Stay aggressive, be who you are."

WTF do s that mean? Those could be three conflicting directives - be patient, stay aggressive and be who you are.

No wonder EC looks like his head is spinning.
How about something simple from Dan like - EC you were taking 14 shots a game and now you are taking 7. We need more scoring from you.

For those in the Philadelphia market I can't find any way to watch the game live. However, there is a replay
listed for 10PM on Fox sports ( channel 720 on Cherry Hill Comcast Cable ) so i guess if they win I and others will want to watch.
If anyone finds a streaming site for this game please post. It is ridiculous that this game can't be seen anywhere in the Delaware Valley
because there are two A10 teams and one Big East team in the market that would have interested fans.

Thank god Valpo is just one game.

Ive seen the talk on Martin covering Peters??? Have to wonder if he asked to do it? Still Martin can't cover the guy that scored the first 7 points of the game. Martin is 6'6 he should be able to stop a 6'9 center from bringing the ball up the court. That guy did he what he wanted except for the 9,000 travels.

I can see a march toward a 10-14 wins with 2 losses and be really looking good. Also can see the team losing multiple games between now and January.

Wish they would do reel off a double digit win streak and point to this as a galvanizing moment.

Was hoping this was the year to break the hated friars recent dominance over us. Just not feeling it. I hope I'm wrong. Fact is Hurley has never beaten Cooley. Cooley's teams always seem to overachieve. Hurleys teams have not lived up to the hype. Game is at the dump... We need to come out aggressive and take it to them. I just see Hurley being too amped up and losing his mind.... Wish Cooley would go away. I knew pc would be better than predicted.. I am afraid we are overrated. Can Hurley get over the hump? Not feeling good.

Does this look right to you? Would these be the odds posted now in MGM, Ceasar's Palace, Tropicana, Mirage, Bellagio, etc?
Last Spring I saw 300-1, then just before the Season started I saw URI at 200-1. I could have bet these amounts in Vegas at the time.
This now shows URI down to 85-1 win the national championship
PC is 500-1
St John's is better than PC at 400-1

People at my office have been talking about the game the last few days (including people who know little or nothing about sports the rest of the time).
This is a very important game, at least for no other reason than perception of fans in this state.

I'm sick and tired of the general buzz that PC is the team to root for, and that I know people who went to URI that are rooting for PC tomorrow. It makes me sick, I can't stand that team, those jerseys, that mascot, attending a game at the dump ...

I'm sick of losing against them the past 6 years ... put up or shut up time tomorrow afternoon.
