I can't commit to season tix or even a mini-package this year due to unknown kids' sports schedules to date, but I was just able to order URI-PeeCee tix online just now, NICE!

"slim pickings..."

as it should be, that's a good thing. we need 6k vs American to show this team the support they have earned. Fri night game, we should be working hard on a big student turnout (give-aways, promotions, anything to entice). Need a nice turnout for what I hope is an opening thumping, of my alma mater!

The one cool thing is there really are no crappy seats in the Ryan Center, even in the 300's...still relatively close to the floor compared to many arenas for sure...

There's probably less than 40 tickets still available to the PC game according to the green dots on the seat map. Some are probably reserved, but I'm glad I purchased the 5 game mini plan.

Got a pair of what looks to be some of the last remaining seats together in the lower bowl for the PC game. Can't wait!

The Ryan Center is going to be electric for that game.

If anybody is bored and wants to figure how many season tickets are sold, look at the St. Thomas Aquinas game. Count the gray dots, but do not include the student sections. I doubt this game has sold anymore tickets, so that should give a good idea as to how many seasons have been sold.

I have season tickets but wanted to buy a couple more for the URI/PC game and I can't get a group of 3 or more. Went on StubHub and people already have rows in 300 for sale at $63 a ticket. Kind of pisses me off.

Yup. One of the unfortunate side effects of a winning program is the presence of Joey Windpants trying to make a couple extra bucks, but it's better then the alternative.

I would very much suggest that if you do not yet have tickets for the big games (PC, Richmond, Dayton, and UMass), you might want to consider getting them now. I think these games will eventually be tough gets. Other games will not be in as much demand.

So I ordered tickets for the PC game and the message at the end of the order process said "you will receive a confirmation email shortly" - that was this morning right at 10am. Haven't received anything yet...I do have the receipt saved to PDF...anyone else choose to "print their own tickets" and not yet receive confirmation? Maybe they are just really busy and it's not a totally automated process on the business end?

I got PC tickets right about the same time as you and also chose to print at home. The confirmation email came shortly after I got the PDF file to print the tickets. They came in at 10:04 and 10:05. They didn't go to your junk/spam folder?

I have a feeling that might break the record for student attendance. Could go either way though. Mid-semster before a big break means hopefully not a lot of classwork and a lot of decisions to go watch basketball and get parking lot hammered at 10am.

Can someone explain what obstructed view seats are in the Ryan Center? I've sat in almost every section and don't recall seeing anything "obstructed" ??

had trouble with the website this morning and found the service and delivery charges unreasonable (at least $5 per ticket). They should not charge me $1 to print my own tickets. Sorry, but that's weak. I know it's not URI's fault, but that's bush league of the website being used. I'm going to go to the Valpo game solo and then I'll buy a few more single games there.

Anyone else doing the valpo game? Maybe a post game slow break club lunch?

Is there anyone here that works in ticketing? If so, just want to alert them that the website isn't allowing me to pick my seats for the Duquesne game. I think that's the only one that isn't working. While the "map" comes up for every other game, it does not for the Duquesne game.

I have the package for valpo, dayton Umass (couldn't go to PC game due to conference obligations) planning on early morning beverages with some of the future alumni but after lunch works great.

I will say that they future alumni haven't been clued in as of yet of the 10AM start so hopefully URI marketing gets on that soon, as I don't see as many walk up tickets that day, and students are going to have to claim ownership of this team

You had the option when you ordered your season tickets to get extra PC tickets. I did that and got four extra.

It seems the tickets for the Aquinas scrimmage are selling for 15 dollars for 100 and 200 sections and 8 dollars for 300 sections. I know it's only a scrimmage, but it's a good chance to get a great seat (100 level, halfcourt) for a decent price.

obstructed seats are the railings I think.. We had them for our first foray into season tickets a few years ago and they were kind enough to switch us back a few rows.. No bad but definitely annoying..

I think it might be true, gorhody.com is showing no tickets available for the PC game. This makes me even more excited for December 5th. Does anyone know when the last time we sold out a game before the season started was?

I was on the ticket site at 10:00am and immediately saw 3 front row seats together for $36 each and added them to my cart and went to checkout. Got a message saying they were already taken.... woulda been a steal!! After that i kept having that same problem and 25 minutes later ended up getting 3 tix in the 300s. Definitely pumped that i'll be going at least!

The teams do not give each other much of an allotment from what I recall. They give the same amount that any visiting team would get. I think PC gets between 400-600 tickets for the game at the Ryan Center and that is it. URI gets that in return for DDC games. Most URI fans at the game in Providence get their tickets through PC or the DDC ticket office on their own. Some PC fans get tickets to the games at the Ryan Center on their own through the URI ticket office but it is a tough prospect (as is also the case for Rhody fans) given the 7,657 capacity.
