Our passing has been great. Quite different than earlier this season. Good rebounding, too.
Looks like LaSalle has been reading our book on free throw shooting..
Nice set up for the last shot, even though it didn't go in

First half: we look good obviously...
We're better than they are obviously.
Had a double foot stomp when JT threw a pass too hard down low and it went off the receiver's hands OB.
Couple nice dunks by Hass.
Best block of the half, went back off the shooter's head and OB.
This place sucks.
But they do have an NCAA Championship banner and another NCAA Finalist banner.
Pep band did zeppelin one timeout, sabbath the next.
Let's finish now!

Probably our worst defensive half of the season considering the competition. Big part of that is Hassan being absolutely abused, whereas usually he is the key to our defense being so good. It is the equivalent of EC being 0-12 from the floor with zero points.

nothing easy with this team.. Terrell looks like he has hit the wall big time... How did Martin not dunk that last rebound.. Playing very tentative and nervous... But again a win is a win...

The thing is, we were playing well. First half was a pretty great half as noted. Oddly, the reverse of having a poor 2nd half occurred today. Again, road games are never easy in conference. Glad to get the W, and essentially lock up a bye.

Ooof! Terrible 3 point and foul shooting,
7and 4 from Hassan, 2 points for Terrell,
ZERO for Powell, and we hang on for dear life for a win.
That second half was as bad as we've had all year.
I really liked Hurley's late game coaching.
Using a zone at times, and that foul at the end.
Well, we've got the "CFL Gold ", and won our 20th game.
Dayton close at VCU. I'm rooting for Dayton.

We just looked very tired. This game reminded me of an NIT game we lost several years ago. I think it was in Utah. We played well in the first half and had nothing left in the second and lost.
The NIT screwed us after beating BC and sent us on the road. We were told we'd be the home team if we beat BC. One of the reasons the NIT was a farce tournament.
Hope we can get some rest before going to Dayton.

Im rooting for Dayton too, that knocks VCU out of 1st. Then we beat Dayton's ass on Wednesday and knock them outta 1st too.
