Rhody faces the Santa Clara Broncos at 2:30pm today (approximately) on ESPNU and WatchESPN online. The Broncos have lost their last three after winning their first two:

KenPom gives URI a 58% chance of winning this game with estimated score: 65-63.

Even after yesterday's loss, Rhody remains an elite defensive rebounding team, allowing only 23% offensive rebounds for their opponents (11th in nation). They're also an above average offensive rebounding team, at 35%.

Gotta win this one so Rhody can get another quality opponent this weekend.

Honestly going into this weekend I placed a greater importance on this game. This tournament will be a success in my eyes if we get 2 wins against decent teams on a neutral court. It will be interesting to see how this young team responds just 24 hours after losing...we gotta answer the bell from the tip and I expect Dan to have our boys ready to do so

I'm seeing URI -6. They gotta win this game today. At Southern Miss won't be easy and neither will the PC game. If Rhody is as good as we think they are today is a game they have to win.

Imagine a rebounding lineup of iffy,Watson,Martin? Now imagine that same line up staring at EC handle the ball??shoot me. But I think you could put EC & JT out there with those 3 and let it fly. They would get the rebound.

We're doing our best but the a Rhody crowd here is a little quiet

Team looks good. Would like to see more movement, Hass seems camped out and not cutting anywhere. Would love to see some of these drop for Terrell.

We need to work the ball into the paint against the zone so it opens up the perimeter. Very stagnant on offense right now, good to see EC knock down some perimeter shots early.

This team thinks too much. They play offense to a mode, "ok we're passing," and then the shot clock is exhausted and they have to take a bad shot.

The ball should be touching the paint every single possession. Doesn't have to be a shot from the paint, but draw the zone in to allow for open outside shots. This team is so small, no reason why it shouldn't go inside every possession. That being said, where was this shooting from EC yesterday?

MUCH better half of basketball right there. Not perfect, still high on the turnovers, but much better transition offense. EC didnt force anything and is still the leading scorer with 11.

Decent defense.. Good shooting half... Have to eliminate all the unforced turnovers. Should be better at this than they are, seeing they always have 3 guards on the floor. Awesome hustle play by Terrell. Like the effort to spot EC up.. He is not a ball handler.. Forces too much.

Good things happened when Gil was in the game, really loving that this is the guy that was advertised. Also, funny how when EC plays off the ball and moves (doesn't think he has to do it all himself) and finds the open space, he's a much more efficient player. Really hope this continues with his play.

Much better.
EC has to know he can score within the context of the offense,
and there's no need to force shots.
I love Terrell's hustle.
Looks like Dan had a long talk with the team.
Yeah, we're not playing Kansas, and blah, blah blah.....
Bad habits can carry over, no matter who you're playing.
This is a good sign, so far, that the players are listening and
executing.

Good ball distribution.....something that we clearly lacked yesterday in the 1st half. EC is letting the game come to him as opposed to forcing the offense. Gill playing solid today again. Terell more assertive

What impresses me the most is the way we came out. Playing so much better. We've seen teams go into a shell after a game like yesterday. Glad we didn't have several days to think about it.
