I think I'm going to puke!
From now on, I'll only believe my own sources.
Whatever, it's not happening today, and Terrell is
NOT on campus.
It's Jeremiah Inrgrahm.

Right. The intel that Jared was on campus appears to have been bad. The situation is otherwise unchanged. Rhody definitely in it, but it isn't over yet (as it would be if that report was correct). At this point, I wouldn't expect to hear anything today.

Regardless of what happens, I want to thank you all on a personal level. My grandfather passed away suddenly on Sunday. Besides being around family, this thread has been the best distraction from the craziness that has been this week. Here's to hoping the news turns out to be good for us all!!
So all of this was based on Hurley walking around campus with someone? Someone that is 5 inches taller than Terrell that was mistaken for Terrell? I just don't see Iggy making those posts without 100% certainty. Especially after similar posts the day before.

Pretty sure Iggy's eyes weren't directly on said recruit. Had to trust someone else's eyes.
Hey, long time lurker. Finally decided to continue my illustrious posting career on KB. URI fan for 20 years since my family moved to RI in 94.
I hope people don't get to down because Terrel ain't on campus atm. My guess is he will declare tomorrow or on the weekend. That always seemed more likely to me.
Rhody coaches since I started following the team as GoT characters.
Hurley- Stannis Baratheon
Harrick- Littlefinger
Degregorio- Joffrey
Skinner - Ned Stark
So let me get this striaght, the only thing that has changed is that JT is not on campus today correct? No change that he might commit today and that URI is still the frontrunner??? Has Mayer twitted any updates on this situation today?

I think what happened is there were reports of Terrell being on campus today again, therefore assuming some announcement was coming. It turned out not to be him. Nothing else has really changed.
Meyer knows shit! We've broken ten times more URI stories than anyone, local
or national.
We goofed on this one.
However, it doesn't mean Terrell doesn't sign here, it just means he's not signing in
Kingston, RI today.
Ingrahm is Preston's old recruit from Detroit.

You'll have to wait on that. Billyboy's taking a two-hour crap or something……...

As far as I know, nothing has changed. That Jared would be on campus was pretty shocking in its own right. Why would he be? He was just on campus to meet with the coaches and he can't actually sign while on the campus.
I would say don't expect anything tonight. Watch the Bruins. Watch the NFL draft. When something happens everyone will find out about pretty quickly.

On the flip side, how would they "know" he was going to sign if he hasn't signed yet? Isn't that what they did in the fall? I'm sure this was arranged before Jared's visit, so without a commitment from him it would be weird for them to cancel the Ingrahm visit.

So this guy on campus today is a SG? That can't be a good sign unless the trip was too late to cancel already or if this individual player is a 2015 prospect?
Good breakdown Truepoint and Adam. Appreciate the clarification.
he can't sign on campus (I believe that was said earlier in the thread) so it didn't really make sense for him to be on campus, hopefully the announcement comes soon

the staff has to keep going until something becomes official, can't stop everything waiting for Terrell

Ingrahm is a forward?
If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.

We have scholarships for both Terrell and Ingraham, correct? Also, a 6'2" SG (Terrell) and a 6'7" SG/SF (Ingraham) are not redundant players, so it may not be a straight plan A and plan B situation.

Thats also very possible. I couldnt remember what the scholarship situation was with all the current movement.
I've had enough of this - going to go out enjoy some weather, take a bike ride, watch me some Bruins, then play softball. Here's hoping that when I get home tonight about 11, JT will have announced he'll be wearing Keaney Blue next weekend.
Bleed Keaney Blue!

I'd perfer they save schlorship 13 for either a top rated transfer if they can land one or for the next year's 2015 class. I think if we were able to land JT, we don't need another player. I think with 12 guys ready to go, that's hard enough to keep player 9-12 happy let alone to add player 13 to the mix.
If you bring in another JUCO this year, the 2016 class would have up to five members. That class would be freshmen on a team that would have EC, Hassan and Hare as seniors and Garrett and (maybe) Terrell as juniors. That could be the best URI team maybe ever. I wouldn't want to bolster it with five freshmen. Four is plenty.
