TruePoint edit: I changed the thread title to be more specific; we already have a general discussion about the tragedy in Newtown, CT elsewhere on the board.

They also blocked off 26 seats and had a rose on each one

Got to give them props. Classy act! Based on this morning's ProJo, it seems it was Ed Cooley who got things rolling. I'm thrilled that Dan Hurley is our coach, but PC got a gem, too.

I think it's safe to say that both schools have good and classy coaches.

Did anyone see during the Cox broadcast of last Saturday's game Dan Hurley's expression during and immediately after the moment of silence to remember the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary? They had a close-up iso on him and you could see how just the mention of it stirred up all sorts of emotions. He sure wasn't alone in that regard.

This tragedy at Sandy Hook has really shaken me to my core.....I cannot even watch or read stories on-going about it....

....I've lost faith in so many things....

Anyone who has kids, should and would be moved by thoughts of what happened in Newtown.
The idea of some twisted person playing God and ending the lives of all those children and their teachers,
is disgusting. The idea of a little child being shot 11 times is nauseating.
The idea that it could have been anyone's child or grandchild, makes
it a very sad, and highly disturbing event.
I have stopped watching the news. It's too overwhelming to absorb.

http://entertainment.verizon.com/news/r ... CCLM_UNEWS Imagine this scam artist set up a fake website with his name, even including petitions on gun control. It was a scam. Unreal what scum is in this world.
