2013 JUCO F A.J. West (Monroe College, N.Y.) is listing Detroit, Nevada, Seattle, San Francisco, Pepperdine, Santa Clara, URI & Marshall

from Chris McManus

It looks like he originally committed to Duquesne out of high school.

I'll do a little work on him tonight when I get home, but any idea offhand if he is a wing forward (possibly a shooter) or more of an inside player? We could really use a shooter and I wouldn't mind some more length on the wing.

I'm guessing more of an inside player, listed at 6'9". He seems to have had a nice string of games in the middle of this past season, not sure what happened at the end.

This is from 2011, but seems like more of an insider guy for sure.

He actually committed to Duquense but then enrolled at Niagara but didn't wind up playing. He's only done one year of JUCO.

If he's a juco, Hurley is looking for a bigman.
Wonder if this guy is on his radar?
45% shooting % for a big isn't great, though.

I remember that too. Seemed like everyone we were recruiting was AJm RJ, TJ.... I'm guessing Preston has stayed in contact.

I would take the rebounds and blocks though.
