We're the only one with an out of conference top 25 rpi win

Agree, Mike is really in command of the metrics that the NCAA Selection Team will look at. He makes excellent points. He is in a key role for Rhody over the next 6 days.

.....I do like the concept of the bar/restaurant "tour" although I only go to most of the local ones, there seemed to be many this year.....Again, unfortunate that we don't have an on campus venue with food, drink and students to attend to boost attendance.....fewer "tour" sites for next year??....wonder how Athletics, sponsors, and venues evaluate this current format....

Hey does anyone know if there are any more of these scheduled and where they'll be? We were hoping to get to one at Two Ten Oyster Bar at some point this season, but the dates never seemed to work for our schedule.

I don't think there's one scheduled, but I'd be surprised if there isn't another one as a season recap.

Right. Hopefully next week will be too busy with traveling to the First Four in Dayton.

But don't you think we will earn a higher seed and avoid Dayton when we win 'ship on Sunday?

He makes a good point about our top 130 wins . It's not our fault if a team is ranked 95 or 105

If we win the A10 beating Bonnies, Dayton, and VCU - we would be 24-9 with an RPI of 24, SOS in the low 40's, 4 top 25 wins and we'd have won 8 in a row, back to back top 25 wins, and will have won 12 out of our last 14.

Obviously that is all a HUGE if. But that is an 8 or 9 seed.

The committee always screws us with seeding too in that scenario we probably get a 10

Yep, at least a slightly better chance of getting to a sweet 16 if you're a 10 instead of an 8 or a 9....still not good, but slightly better.

I want to go to Dayton and win and then win again playing with house money in friday. Then who knows what happens Sunday.

Yes agreed rather a 10 than an 8 or 9 though with so much parity this year may not matter all too much

I think the First Four offers some advantages too.

Absolutely. Better chance of appearing in two NCAA games if they start in First Four. The program is starving for NCAA credits. Two from this season would enable the next steps.

It would be nice to line up against a California and knock off a P5 team to get that first credit.

The way Dan has been using the bench down the stretch gives me some hope that we can weather a tough stretch of 5 or 6 (please God pleeeease) games in 8 or 9 days.

Granted let's just worry about winning the damn A10 quarterfinal first.

I say we schedule a team event every day with Dan involved until GTown names their new coach.
