Day 1: 6PM - #11 St. Joseph's (6-12) vs #14 UMASS(4-14)
8:30 PM - #12 George Washington (6-12) vs #13 Fordham (5-13)

Day 2: 12PM - #8 Duquesne (10-8) vs #9 LaSalle (8-10)
2:30 PM - #5 St. Bonaventure (10-8) vs George Washington/Fordham
6 PM - #7 St. Louis (10-8) vs #10 Richmond (6-12)
8:30 PM - #6 URI (10-8) vs St. Joseph's/UMASS

Day 3: 12PM - #1 Davidson (15-3) vs Duquesne/LaSalle
2:30 PM - #4 Dayton (12-6) vs St. Bonaventure/George Washington/Fordham
6PM - #2 VCU (14-4) vs St. Louis/Richmond
8:30 PM - #3 George Mason (12-6) vs URI/St. Joseph's/UMASS

Day 4: 1 PM - Davidson/Duquesne/LaSalle vs Dayton/St. Bonaventure/George Washington/Fordham
3:30 PM - VCU/St. Louis/Richmond vs George Mason/URI/St. Joseph's/UMASS

Day 5: 1 PM - See winners
Why would Bonaventure get the tiebreaker over URI when Rhody beat them h2h?
So if you look at the KenPom projections, SBU, URI, St. Louis, and Duquesne all are projected to finish 10-8. When there is 3 or more teams with the same record, here is the rule:

"Use each team’s record against the tied teams as a group rather than performance
against individual teams. When comparing records against a group of teams, the higher
winning percentage will prevail. In case of tied percentages vs. the team or group of
1.000 or .000, the following shall apply: 2-0 is better than 1-0; 0-1 is better than 0-2."

St. Bonaventure is currently 1-1 in those games (L - URI; W - Duquesne), with home games remaining against both Duquesne and St. Louis where they will be favorites, so against that grouping they are projected 3-1.
URI is currently 2-2 against that grouping, with no remaining games.
St. Louis is currently 1-2 in those games, with @ St. Bonaventure and home Duquesne left, projected to finish 2-3.
Duquesne is currently 2-1 in those games, but plays both St. Bonaventure and St. Louis on the road where they will be underdogs, projected 2-3.

That said, getting the 6 seed in the current format to me is a better draw. There are paths to the #5 seed, but this is just based off of the KenPom projected record.

If we go 5-3 the rest of the way, I think I will be pleasantly surprised.

Right now I doubt it.

I think they will win the games at home. They seem to play good at home. Maybe it's the fans yelling at them to get their asses moving.

Well any discussion should wait until about 630 on Saturday.

Win that game, and 5-3 is doable. Lose, and look out below.

There is no consistency. Look at their performances against Stony Brook and Mason at home. Two of the worst performances of the year.

URI has played consistently better at home since those losses.

That's where my hope lies.

Solid numbers for the 2 starting Freshmen for St Bonaventure in the 51-49 Bonnies win @ Duquesne

- Osun Osunniyi played 36 min, 4-14 FG, 1-2 FT for 9 pts plus an amazing 11 Offensive Rebounds and total of 22 rebounds! plus 6 blocked shots
- Kyle Lofton played 29 min, 7-15 FG, 2-2 FT, 2 assists for 16 points
- Stockard had a bad game hitting only 2-16 FG plus 8 TOs

Will be an interesting game Saturday 2pm CBSSN VCU @ Bonnies. Osunniyi could sew up A10 Freshman of the Week with a good performance

The Hawks responded to their "tough situation" by thrashing Saint Louis tonight 91-61. Saint Louis often compared to URI as similar teams had another bad shooting night- 37%/23%/55% - and Saint Joseph's had a unusually good shooting 56% FG and 43% 3FG and 76% FT and that created the 30 point blowout.

Charlie Brown with a very efficient night 10-12 FG, 2-3 3FG, 6-7 FT, 9 reb, 3 assists for 28 points
St Joe Freshman Guard Jared Bynum with another good game 8-14 FG, 3-6 3FG, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 TO for 20 points
@ St Joseph's March 5th could be tougher then we thought

URI is the only team in the A-10 to lose to UMass. Even Fordham and LaSalle have wins over them. All league games will be tough for Rhody.

PC beat up on St John’s 70-56 at MSG. Nice win. St John’s is incredibly undisciplined. Poor coaching.

Lowly UMASS defeats Davidson at home.

Stranger things have happened, eh?

That’s why they play the game.

54-51 UMass. Davidson didn’t have a FG in the last 8:45 of the game. Brady gives up a 3 with 1 second on the shot clock with no attempt to get around a screen. Btw, he isn’t going pro this year with these types of performances. Was 1-10 FG. Got beat on D for layups several times late in 2nd half.

UMass is terrible. I didn’t watch the game but assume Davidson fans aren’t happy. Killed my 4 team parlay.

Davidson didn’t play well. I watched the game. Their last basket in the game was with 8:44 left.
Their player of the year candidate went 1-10 FG. They scored 51 points.

Yeah if Davidson played well they would have won not lost at UMass

Duke win at UVA

Amazing Utah wins at Ucla down 23 in 2h and 17 with 6 minutes left . Hit a 3 at buzzer to win by 1
