I doubt McLeod will go to LaSalle.

Hopefully he'll commit to us after that visit.

If he still waits until his FSU visit....all bets are off.

FSU top target at Center just announced his Final 3. Has Baylor visit this weekend and then will announce his commitment. Four star ranked #53 nationally. FSU is considered the favorite. He is from FL. Transferred to Brewster for Sr year. Will be their starting C.
That would end McLeod’s visit to Tallahassee.

McLeod is coming for Rhody Madness.
Coaches’ plan is that he doesn’t go on another visit after that.
FSU never happens.

Rhody is still recruiting for three more spots.

From speaking with certain people at the season ticket holders event look for McLeod to make a decision within the next 2 weeks. It might be the Rhody Madness weekend, but it sounds like their will be a decision prior to him ever attending the FSU visit.

Lasalle board says they are no king recruiting Summerville as they could be a sign they locked up McLeod. Time will tell I guess, hope he is still coming for midnight madness.

They didn’t lock up McLeod, just don’t have interest in Somerville. He’s the backup to the backup.

I just saw Fatts IG story and Naheem came up a couple times, once saying: "It's about that time" and "I'm going to announce this week" - feeling pretty good about McLeod.

I feel pretty good about McLeod, but you can't count out Ashley Howard who looks like a great hire by LaSalle and has signed Christian Ray who is friendly with both McLeod and Donta Scott(visited LaSalle with McLeod last weekend). I think it will come down to LaSalle or URI as they have recruited him the hardest and made the strongest relationships with him over any other schools. From speaking with people at the event last week at the Ryan Center a decision will come down by the end of next week.

I agree, imagine a decision is imminent since it doesn't seem like anyone else is really involved. FSU and PSU seemed to have fizzled.

Omar Payne, 2019 Top 50 Center committed yesterday to Florida after having narrowed down to Florida and Florida State. Be interesting to see how this affects McLeod.

I kind of always thought we would only get either walker or McLeod. I get they play different positions technically, but there are only so many minutes at 4/5 to spread around to these guys. First to commit gets it, then Hammond to round out a strong first class for Coach Cox.

McLeod loves the attention he’s getting.

I think the plan at this point is to get him and Somerville on campus at the same time, and get him to commit after Rhody Madness before the FSU visit.

It won't take that long. Everything I'm hearing is that McLeod is committing very soon, possibly this weekend

McLeod is a good fit....a center who will play behind Langevine for a year, and then be our starting center for hopefully 3 more years....

I think we are much more likely to land him than Walker.

Would much rather us have this guy as opposed to having to go against him for four years if he goes to La Salle.

This guy could be as much of a difference maker as Walker.
Especially in the A-10.

We could devour teams defensively.

Unless there isn’t a scholarship at URI or FSU for him. Which I highly doubt.

I am not sure. It could be NJ/NY area as well. Ground work for 20s & 21s is also a focus during this open recruiting period.
Somerville is also near by in Byrn Mawr.

This is one of those rare instances where URI holds the power card and can hold off Somerville’s commitment until McLeod decides. Both of them being there will entice one or the other to likely want to pop during the visit. The fact that McLeod is coming back for Rhody Madness, speaks volumes.

I agree with you... I just wish Naheem would just announce his decision much like I wished Kimbrel could've thrown more strikes last night and saved me a lot uneccessary angst.

Get McLeod and this class becomes very good.
I check this site four times a day hoping to see if he has committed.
With no visits, I wonder what the hold up is.

Then we can wait on a Walker decision without any stress.

I thought for sure Kimbrel was gonna blow the game. As a life long Sox fan I could see it playing out that way and us losing another heart breaking game to NY.

I'm pretty sure Naheem loves the drama but I sure wish he would commit sooner rather than later. I'm hoping if he committed to us it might have some positive influence on Anthony Walker's decision..
