I had a bout of plantar fasciitis about 10 years ago. Hurt like hell. And I wasn't trying to play basketball on my bad foot.

My brother the physician suggested a steroid injection into the plantar fascii to hasten healing....

I haven't seen this said specifically yet, but maybe I've missed it, or maybe it's just so obvious that no one feels the need to mention it, but...
...if JT is at OKState, we are (at best!) 0-3 over our last 3, 12-8 overall, and 4-5 in the A10.

Ramulous. I got cortisone shots for a year. Helped a lot. Rest ultimately was the best treatment. E.C. doesn't have that luxury.

Was not aware it was a fascitis issue... We are talking the same problem Curt Schilling had in 04 among others correct?
If so that sucks, it took Schilling until 06 to get back from that injury and it has a reputation for hindering performance.

That's what I had and it never came back. I was also told after the fact that a cortisone shot in that area can be very dangerous.Ramulous wrote:My brother the physician suggested a steroid injection into the plantar fascii to hasten healing....

From the beginning I have been a big booster of Jared Terrell seeing him as one of the most complete packages on this Ram team. That he also has an awesome personality and presence just makes him a special player. So I waited and waited for JT to break out and was disappointed that in the A-10 play his contributions appear to decline and hit bottom with the La Salle game. Then comes a complete turn around.
I just watched the replay of the GW game to see again his great contribution. It wasn't just his 17 points, but he energized the Rams at the darkest time when GW was up 5 with a key bucket, then stole the ball to cut the GW lead to 1. Later he made a beautiful move for lay-up and foul to get a traditional 3 points. 7-7 on FT. Key rebounds - only Martin and Watson had more. Other than an errant pass and not finishing on a beautiful move to the basket, he was the real deal. GW won't forget JT any time soon.

Jared Terrell was named A10 rookie of the week.
Take down the Robert Carothers banner and fix the concession stand lines

I had a great time at the mews and game
Despite the non-sellout, I salute the die hard fans that are enjoying the ride
I don't get a chance to go to many games, but do enjoy everytime I go

I'm trying to recall a URI team with this kind of defense.

Maybe Penders team, had Kenny, Garrick and Evans could D up, Bonzie solid low post. But I don't remember any D being as disruptive as this one.

I think with the firepower of Penders' teams,
defense was less a focus.
defense was less a focus.

Rosie--don't waste anymore time thinking about it. Take it from this guy who has been around forever--there has NOT been one.
