If there were only two games to go to I’d recommend attending St Joe and UMASS
If I could only go to one it would be St Joe on Feb 1
89-St Joseph's Home Feb 1 Wed 6pm
75-UMASS Home Feb 16 Thurs 6pm

"“A referee came up to me during the game at the end when it was out of hand and he said, ‘My God, I can’t tell who’s a starter and who’s a bench [player],’ ” URI coach Tammi Reiss said. “ ‘Unlike last year, this team is deep, and they all play hard. They just come at you in waves. Keep doing what you’re doing.’"RhowdyRam02 wrote: ↑1 year ago Up 62-40 after three quarters against 105 NET Richmond. Our bench has been better than their starters. Just a straight up wagon
They won tonight, amazingly. At home against Dayton, a similarly not-good team.Jersey77 wrote: ↑1 year ago The Bonnies on Sunday should be one of our easiest road games.
They are currently 3-17 (0-5 A10) and on a 9-game losing streak.
They will probably finish at or close to the bottom of the conference.
Their best and biggest player is I'yanna Lops (6'3") averaging 11 pts/ 5.6 rebs.
She is the only player averaging double-digits.
I expect a fairly comfortable win here.
She was with the team last night but not dressed. Haven't heard an updated time line
Komara is a good back-up for Torre, she doesn't have the mid-range game Torre has, but she's a good defender, gets good position on rebounds and is competent around the basket on offense. She would probably start for 75% of the teams in the A10.
I thought SBU attacked Komara with some success. To compete among NCAAT teams, I think we need better inside defenders.Running Ram wrote: ↑1 year ago

If we run the table the rest of the way heading into the tournament, the NET ranking will take care of itself. If we make it to the finals, having run the table we will get into the tournament, even if we don't win it all.RhowdyRam02 wrote: ↑1 year ago That's where Tenin Magassa would come in, but I haven't heard more about when she's due back.
The NET ranking went from 64 to 67 after yesterday's games
Freshman Anaelle Dutat is who Tammi refers to as her Dennis Rodman type player. Anaelle rebounds and plays great defense. Tammi will sometimes put Anaelle on the opponent’s best player.Rhody72 wrote: ↑1 year agoI thought SBU attacked Komara with some success. Pete,
I was referring only to the SBU game when Toure was out.ramster wrote: ↑1 year ago

Anaelle is just a Freshman yet quietly and astonishingly:
- 7th in the A10 in Offensive Rebounds per game
- 17th in the A10 in Rebounds per game
- 3rd on URI in steals
Add Komara who is also a freshman as we have talented depth at forward/center positions. These 2 freshmen keep getting better. Tenin Magassa will add to that depth when she is ready to return.
- 4th on URI in minutes played
Pete,
A couple of difficult travel days, but still no excuses. We should have dominated this game tonight and by all accounts, our first unit did. There will be nights like this but the goal is to get out of town with a win. Now they will have to work Magassa into the lineup.
Wins on the road are always tough. Credit for this team pulling this out tonight.Cameron_Dollar wrote: ↑1 year agoA couple of difficult travel days, but still no excuses.
