Feel like those relations are frosty but who knows.

Put Rory at the 4 in place of Martin. Supposedly he is a 3 pt shooter. Give him the green light. Can't be worse than Martin that's for sure. And he's a freshman. So if he is the future, better make sure he is by playing him.
Edit: Just looked at stats and Rory is shooting 29% on 3pt with 9-31. And .500 FT's. Def not a sharpshooter.

In that brief stint at the 4 on Saturday he looked the most comfortable he has all year. He hit a couple of threes and was aggressive on the offensive glass. He's been used almost exclusively at the 5 I think where he doesn't look as comfortabletheblueram wrote: ↑1 year ago Put Rory at the 4 in place of Martin. Supposedly he is a 3 pt shooter. Stewart is just a freshman, a freshman big man at that from London England
1st 13 games (113 minutes) Stewart played in he went 3-19 on 3Ps for 16%
Last 8 games (63 minutes) Stewart has gone 6-12 on 3Ps for 50%
Might as well roll the dice with more Stewart minutes the last few games. Miller has been providing him more minutes of late
Stewart has a sweet shot and release. Quite a few of his misses this season has been right on target and some misses have gone in and out.

Rory's problem appears to be athleticism. Can he keep up on the defensive end. It appears he has the heart and desire. Has to improve his quickness. If he becomes a consistent threat from behind the arc, he at least can be an important bench piece to provide some instant offense. Here's hoping.

It's not easy to be thrown in randomly for a few minutes and play D1 ball. Rory needed and still needs time to adjust to the speed, skill, and athleticism of the A10. He's been a good shooter his entire career. It's not a coincidence that he's now shooting the ball with more confidence, and the game looks to have slowed down a little bit for him lately..theblueram wrote: ↑1 year ago Put Rory at the 4 in place of Martin. Excellent assessment on where Rory is right now, Stevey.steveystuds06 wrote: ↑1 year agoIt's not easy to be thrown in randomly for a few minutes and play D1 ball. In addition to what you posted, it appears he is gaining confidence even beyond shooting, as well. Although, I have noticed a bit of hesitancy with him in his decision making on his pass attempts and passes but, that too shall pass (no pun intended) in time.
I still like his upside and believe he can still develop into a key rotation piece here if he stays all four years.

Just a little more on Rory.... I know that this isn't a good reason to keep Rory and Foumena, but if they stay and we keep that Orangeville Prep pipeline going, it gives a much better shot at Jalik Dunkley-Distant. He could be a game changer.
