If the options are limited minutes or complete shut down for the year, I will take the limited minutes.

I guess that would depend on if playing will cause further damage. I hope the doctors think not.

My guess is that they dont feel that playing on it can make it worse.

I've tried and I just can't eat tofu....it's the texture. It's too weird to eat. Btw, had a physical the other day. The doctor said that the new recommendations are no alcohol and cut out all meat - go strict vegetarian. I need a new doctor - I don't need that kind of negativity in my life

Loved it when Steve teased about talking about the two new guys on the bench and then never brought It up for the remainder of the show like he promised. He got into the experimental rule changes in the NIT instead which I certainly didn’t care about.

They set the show up in a very high traffic area of their bar (service bar and the main bathroom for the restaurant) so lots of moving around, etc. maybe they’ll put it in a different area since there SHOULD be a larger crowd.

Dan’s Place is actually pretty big but for whatever reason they stick us in a tiny corner next to their bathroom and bar service area. This shouldn’t happen to Champs.

Tomorrow is 6pm at Dan’s in NK.

Pretty sure there are 1-2 left after tomorrow, contractually. Guaranteed one after tomorrow night since last week’s was postponed. REALLY hoping for another Coast Guard House one in June like last year.

I saw on Twitter that they're having the show in the actual function room this time. Glad there won't be people walking back and forth from the bathroom so I can hear what's going on this time.

.......yes, they did a great job with this one, among the highlights, for me, were the sense of an all around feel good going into next year and a few glimpses of what took place with the coach and players during the dark days.......and RoadyJay being in the house......Go Rhody.....

......in nut shell, Coach said he backed off a bit as to the intensity of the practices, found different ways to reach the players......the player leadership, of Jeff, Fatts, Cyril, and sometimes CT had meetings on how to turn this around......then to the team.....all seemingly endorsed by a Coach to get the younger players buy in......

BTW once a recording is posted, reference the record of all of our most recent HC’s in their first year (talking the past ~30 years). Dave currently has the best record (minus Harrick) in their first season. Again, not that I need to point it out, but losing 5 seniors to graduation plus being his first season as a D1 HC Dave has done a fantastic job with this team.

Expectedly, the show was primarily a recap of the season and the A10 tournament. However, I was hoping to hear Coach Cox talk about the incoming class and their impact on the team for next year. Hopefully there’s some shows in the off-season where they get into that.

When asked if last night was the final show, Steve mentioned on the radio this am that there would be 2 more- 1 in a month and 1 a couple months from now. He joked that he had no idea what they’d have to talk abt.
