On a day where a (former) first place team loses at Duquesne, just to remind us of how conference play works, a nice road win for Rhody. Everything was just effective enough. My god, I love these guards!

The seniors had a tough day. A decent 6-11, 240 JUCO TRANSFER center controlled the paint. Offered by Butler, Wichita State, ODU

Great win, definitely the worst announcers I've ever heard. They did ZERO prep for this game. They sounded like two buddies watching the game at home and just B.S'ing with each other... I love our teams fire though.. Rod, I was thinking the same thing that you said, if we had Thompson, we would be ridiculously good. He was a "project" coming in that obviously worked.. Let find one of those

Sorry must not be in the right mind then. A 6'11 guy who needs 16 shots to score 15 points against guys 4 inches shorter than him. Sorry not drolling over that. Yes he got 15 boards, but again he is 6'11 that is expected. Offensively he is raw and a low skill guy.

But on to our team we do have, gotta love a team getting better every game. It had been so long since we have seen that. When was the last time we had 3 double digit victories in a row in February?

He's looking at juco bigs now! Like this is news? Really?
In case you don't know, this was his 15th double double. Yeah, he only got 15 rebounds
and got every one of our bigs in foul trouble.
Yeah, he sucks. Only shoots 56%. Low skill?
Because we know all fucking 6'11" guys average 13 points and 12 rebounds a game,
and are double double machines, right?
Plus, he's relentless and tough.
He's also better than any center we've had since 1968.
What kind of idiocy wants Martin to waste his career playing out of position, when you could
have a center like Thompson?
Starting to sound like the PC board.

Brady,. what game were you watching? It was some guy named Lamar.

Not to pile on here, but McKoy is averaging 6 points and 5 rebounds a game and shoots 34% from the FT line on a bad team. He'd probably be getting Butler minutes on this team.

Hey, I just watched the game and thought he played pretty awesome. Giving kudos to a former Ram. Athletic dude. The Dukes wouldn't have beat dayton without him.

Adam didn't you know this was the thread where we pine for 2 guys on bottom feeder programs.

16 shots for 15 points by a seven footer doesn't impress me, sorry. Nor does a guy piling up stats on a bad team when lots of the stats are in garbage time. Color me not impressed. He got a ton of those rebounds in the last 8 minutes when we were playing 4 and even 5 guards at one time.
