It was more surprising that everyone was talking about this team going on a run and getting the 4th seed, a packed house for the VCU game, the great backcourt we have and on and on. This team lacks talent. There is nothing that I enjoy about watching this team. We won in a big comeback at home over a bad Lasalle team and beat a decent Dayton team at home. They haven't won a road game in what seems like years. Great win for the URI woman tonight.

I don’t think anyone expected them to play this bad tonight, but by no means was this team going to go on a big run. They have a terrible record and are going nowhere. Best hope is to develop a couple useful pieces for next year and bring in many new faces. How about some top notch 3 point shooting. When was the last time we had one

Thankfully just eight more games now left in this regular season which as far as I am concerned cannot end soon enough. This team has been brutally bad in an historic sense. These rebuilds are getting tougher to stomach as I get older. The possibility that this team may not win a single true road game is increasing. Just four road games remain - SLU, GMU, Fordham, and Loyola. Would imagine Rhody will be a decided underdog in the first three. Loyola is bad enough that it should be just a slight favorite at home. I still think URI will catch a road team on an off night AND put forth a good enough effort for a win somewhere. The opportunities are however dwindling. It is now a distinct reality that they might go winless on the road for an entire season. Have not registered a true road win since beating UMass in Amherst back on January 15th in 2022. Now 382 days and counting.
