Scottie Lewis was a 5 star recruit think he’s coming off bench so far. Andrew Nemhard is a player. Not sure about anyone else. In general the preseason ncaa hoops predictions and early rankings have huge margins of error IMO. So much unknown about Freshmen and transfera that it’s largely based on the program history.PeterRamTime wrote: ↑4 years ago Who other than Blackshear is suppose to be any good???
They looked real average.

Powell had 26 points in game against SLU. The kid certainly knows how to get to the FT line. He was 10-12 in that department.

Right now Powell is the best player in college basketball. Should be him and Cassius Winston battling for POY when all is said and done.

Florida looks awful, not sure how this team is so highly ranked. They got destroyed at home vs Florida St and barely survived Towson also at home. While this looks like a good win for Hurley now, not sure how it will look with a strong SEC schedule that awaits the Gators

Obi Toppin is the best player in college basketball in my book.

Agree that Florida isn’t good. Preseason that were raked #10 and were predicted to finish 2nd in the SEC behind Kentucky.bigappleram wrote: ↑4 years agoScottie Lewis was a 5 star recruit think he’s coming off bench so far. Re: Week #2- Games of Interest
I've heard many people project them to win the national title.
NO WAY.
They look like the 18/19 Rhody Rams on offense.
They will get better. I wouldn't be surprised if they made the tournament, but nothing about them suggests they'll be any better than a bubble team.
Uconn lookin like Dan's rhody teams. Playing hard, good defense. Average offense.

Duquesne easily handled Lipscomb, last season's Atlantic Sun Champion, 58-35, for the Duke's third straight win. Duquesne has a favorable OOC schedule and other than several neutral site games, they do not see a true road game until they play at St. Joe's on January 8.
Did anyone see the Duquesne-Lipscomb box score? The two teams shot a COMBINED 1-40 from three point range. Lipscomb missed all 18 of their attempts and the Dukes were not much better at 1-22. While we complain about our Rams shooting from behind the arc, imagine witnessing a 3pt shooting percentage of .025 by both teams for a game.

Btw, UConn got two votes in the AP Top 25 today. What a joke.
