2 innings in a row he left the pitcher that should have been out of the game in to walk the leadoff man. When you get what you need from a pitcher don't leave him in for one more guy. I hate managing that way.

By the last couple innings they literally booed any pitch that was called a ball (when Rhody was up obviously) or a strike (when Rhody was pitching). It was hilarious. There was one pitch that almost hit the Rhody kid and they booed when it was called a ball. So much fun.

Awesome game! HUGE win for URI as we all know. Biggest in program history? I say yes, but you guys that have been fans longer know more then I do. Quick question, I caught the game late around the 4th inning is when I started watching...was first pitch actually at 8:09 or whatever is was supposed to be? That was a long game if it was. Didn't matter to me, that was a ton of fun to watch. Can't want for UNC-W tonight!

No story in my paper edition of the ProJo.....but we are paranoid....

What are they going to say? How would URI fans react if we had a great year in basketball, were a top 15 team, got a 4 seed, then lost to an autobid Akron or something in the basketball tournament? And URI basketball isn't even close to the level South Carolina is in baseball. I get why they're mad, and I love it. Especially after their display of dumb redneck behavior last night in the late innings.

The way Wilson was able to come back from that rough start was remarkable. It was looking like a nightmare of a game, then he started dealing bigtime. Very impressive.

Also loved the back to back homers from my man Olmo and McManus. That really rattled SC's starting pitcher and the momentum shifted from there....just a flat out bigtime win. Really fun game.

Who is pitching today? UNCW smacked Duke around yesterday.

The game ended pretty late. Most likely passed the deadline to get a story in I would think.

Read all 15 pages and summarized.
Followed the team closely and went to many games and not surprised by a lot that we would win this game. Umpire had a very tight strike zone but both ways
Broadcast crew did a good job I thought especially the color guy.
Last guy Tyler walked color guy said 3 of the balls could have been called strikes and he was right
The many balls called both ways hurt both starting pitchers and helped the hitters get better pitches to hit
Now let's take care of UNCW!!!!

2-seed Bryant sent home already losing last night to 3-seed East Carolina and then today to 4-seed William and Mary.
Hugely disappointing after their season and being nationally ranked.

Royalty is just a freshman, not a big strike out pitcher, had 4 walks last game
He does not normally pitch a lot of innings so need to jump on him early

There should be no chance he goes tomorrow. He threw 119 pitches last night, that would be total negligence on the manager's part. I am in favor of cloning if it can be done in time for the game however. We need Tesla's machine from The Prestige ASAP
