Pretty sad that VCU going to go 15-3 conference and can’t even get on the bubble bad non conf loss to Jacksonville and lost to Duquesne and St Bonaventure in conference, shows how far the A10 has fallen
Agreed Reef. This has been a bad year.
I was looking at the Net rankings last night. There are 7-8 first place teams from lower rated conferences (in conf Net) that have higher Net ratings than first place VCU. Even Yale, first place in the Ivy, has a slightly higher Net as of this morning. Ooph.
I sure hope we start to see things move in the reverse direction for the A10 next season.
ETA: I hate to even entertain the possibility of the A10 potentially becoming a one bid conf more often than not. 15 teams battling for one bid most years with very little room for error. That would blow.

Bryant's season ended with an AE quarterfinal loss to UNH, 67-60. The Bulldogs faded in closing out the season as they lost five of their last six games.

Tough to do this late in a season but Providence fell from 39 to 51 in the NET after debacle L vs. Seton Hall.
This is a Bubble team in need of a Win.
2:30pm Thursday 4-seed UCONN takes on 5-seed PC at MSG
Friars down to 51 in NET puts them in a precarious position. UCONN could deliver a knock out blow
PC has dropped quickly
51 NET and could lose Thursday to UCONN
Plus what is some team outside of the Top 5 in the BE wins the AQ?
PC is well behind the Top 4 now
Also there can be additional upsets in 1 Bid Conference Tournaments called bid stealers.

"After the loss, both Davis and his father said they would welcome an invitation to the College Basketball InvitationaI or another postseason tournament, which would potentially allow Davis to continue his pursuit of Maravich's record."
OK I hate this kid. And his dad.
Getting 5 years and extra tournaments and blatantly just funneling shots to this kid is lame. You're a good player in a bad conference. Go away.
Lasalle’s guards are playing great. That’s what you need to win in March. Every great Rhody team was guard led. I hope Archie brings in 2-3 new back court players.

I liked LaSalle today just based on how they played against us yesterday they looked good

Credit the Friars for coming back and making it close. Now send them to the NIT!!
They will be sweating it out Sunday. Lost four of their last five with the only win against hapless Georgetown. Two of the losses at home. Winless in conference tournament. NET rank in the 50's. Most teams with that profile don't make it

I think they had already punched their ticket in, regardless of today's outcome.
Marquette, Creighton, PC, UConn, and Xavier should all be in.
But you never know till Sunday.

Andre Jackson has to be the best player in the country averaging less than 7 points per game. The dude just impacts every single part of the game.
I am thinking play in game for the fryers.. And that will be a gift .. 4 and 8 against quad 1 teams 2 neutral court losses (at Mohegan)....who do you think had the easiest time selling tickets for those 2 Games Providence Miami or Saint Louis..... Dont worse teams Who get the automatic bid limit their chances of getting one of the 64?
PC was looking to be in great shape for an at large just three weeks ago. Their collosal choke job to close out the season has however put their NCAA goal into much jeopardy

I look at Dayton’s lineup and I think, wow! That team has NCAAT bid in its future. Then I actually watch them play and it’s like wtf?
They are still missing Kobe Elvis
But yeah, Anthony Grant is a little emBARONsing at times...
PRT, we have a big problem….I just read your post in the infamous Ant thread. It appears you withheld important intel. I am starting to wonder if the big 20 page attainment is now fraudulent! I never would have kept posting there if I knew about your intel.
Note: I am posting here because I gave my word not to post you know where anymore.

Unfortunately they will get in due to the love fest hangover for Cooley from last year. I'm guessing 9/10 seed.
Thank God UConn held on. Almost blew that 26 (!) point lead...

OVERATED COOLEY
If overrated is 7 NCAAs in 12 years, a Big East regular season and tournament championship, along with a Sweet 16, then I’ll take a coach that’s overrated.
