Wasn’t sure where else to put this. So, I placed it here as a follow up to my post here from yesterday since the NBE was against it.
It looks like the NCAA/House settlement is a done deal. The NBE’s share of the conferences portion is 3.65%, the A10’s is 3.43% of the $2 bil plus settlement.
The B10 will pay the most at 10.04%, the ACC is next at 9.52% and the SEC at 7.5% and Big12 at 6.68%.
I believe the $2 bil plus settlement split is 60% for the NCAA and 40% for the conferences.

I would bet that they are doing cartwheels in the NBE offices with the news that DH is remaining at UConn.
DH let them hang on to their current biggest draw in media negotiations, fwiw in negotiating leverage in trying to grab more media dollars per team.
