Jersey, I believe that game was a Veterans Day special played outdoors on an aircraft carrier.
Disregard, I missed Adam’s post where he already explained it.

Yes it was, Gonzaga was listed as the home team though, my bad on the location.
Both Duquesne and St. Joe's won at home.
Should be quite a test for us when we play them. Fortunately, we have time to improve some before we take them on. Hopefully, we are healthy, too.

Enjoyed the post, 104.Section104 wrote: ↑1 year ago A10 is a guard oriented league that operates with razor thin margins in the OOC. The below three players could play just about anywhere in the country and are integral parts to our top tier teams.
Malachi Smith
Ace Baldwin
Yuri Collins
Enjoyed the post. 104.
It seems like every year high hopes are dashed by way of injuries. This year is no exception with Malachi and Ace both out for an uncertain amount of time. In the Big East, SEC, etc. there's plenty of time to tread water in the OOC and make noise in conference play - our bubble teams don't have that luxury. Could be another highly disappointing year for the A10.
Not true. Davidson was +3 playing at College of Charleston. C of C was favored by 3 points, some had it 3.5 points.
You are correct, my mistake.ramster wrote: ↑1 year agoNot true. Davidson was +3 playing at College of Charleston. C of C was favored by 3 points, some had it 3.5 points.
Rightfully so as Charleston clobbered Davidson by 23 points. Not the kind of loss A10 teams want in Mid Major head to head OOC Games
Loyola of Chicago got plundered by 19 to Tulsa - a bad loss as Tulsa is a bottom feeder in AAC:Jersey77 wrote: ↑1 year agoYes, the upper tier A10 teams really need to step up their game if they expect to get more than 2 teams in the NCAAT.
I always felt the Loyola prediction in the A10 was too high.ramster wrote: ↑1 year agoLoyola of Chicago got plundered by 19 to Tulsa - a bad loss as Tulsa is a bottom feeder in AAC:

Davidson is not an upper tier team tho. They lost way too much. No A10 team can lose what they lost and stay in upper tier. Same for Richmond. Recency bias has folks regarding them higher than they should be IMO. Plus they lost their HC to retirement.bigappleram wrote: ↑1 year agoDavidson is not an upper tier team tho. They lost way too much. No A10 team can lose what they lost and stay in upper tier. Same for Richmond. Recency bias has folks regarding them higher than they should be IMO. We’ll see
Still I want all the predicted top half A10 teams to have a good performance and avoid these ugly blow outs against not-so-great teams in the OOC.bigappleram wrote: ↑1 year agoDavidson is not an upper tier team tho. Thank you. As I said. The NCAA isn't a barometer of your team - it's luck of matchups/who gets hot. Getting there is all that matters. It's pretty easy to get there in a soft conference like the MVC.Jersey77 wrote: ↑1 year agoI always felt the Loyola prediction in the A10 was too high.ramster wrote: ↑1 year agoLoyola of Chicago got plundered by 19 to Tulsa - a bad loss as Tulsa is a bottom feeder in AAC:

Can't believe so many picked them 3rd or even 4th.
