Ish is starting the first game of his career as a true freshman.... As I've said a million times, he's going to have plenty of bad moments. If you don't see the benefit of playing a freshman with tons of potential more during a season that doesn't matter until the A10 tournament, I don't know what to tell you.

WOW, we are a very bad team. Can't shoot can't dribble, can't pass. Offensive sets are absolutely terrible. The only reason the game is somewhat close is that Fordham is as bad as wee are.

The bigger problem is cox still playing his “system” which makes Ish starting at PG irrelevant. What’s the point of having the only point guard on your roster on the floor if you’re going to allow turnover machines to be the primary ball handlers on some possessions?

Until Cox is willing to change his system we will still continue to suck ass.

You want to talk about time to “gel” think about how long it takes when you have about 5 different “point guards” in an offense that need to “gel” with an ever-changing roster of players in different positions around them.

If Cox won’t change this idiotic philosophy that clearly hasn’t worked in 3 years, you have to move on from him.

Umm have you watched any of our games this year?

I've watched more games than I have missed and see no reason to force feed a freshman 30+ minutes a game. He is having a decent year but he is not lighting the world on fire. I do not see a reason to greatly increase his role. He is playing enough to understand what he needs to improve on. His decision making today has not been good.

Next year will some other freshman be the savior? I'm interested in developing multiple guys. DJ, Malik, Sheppard, Betrand all deserve minutes as does Carey as long as he plays hard on defense. We have depth.

Other than Fatts, I think is Ish is the only other true point guard. That’s why I think he should get most of Fatts’ minutes in this game.
