Just like La Force was hired to bring in Terrance Mann [that failed, in more ways than one] so was Ty brought in to create a pipeline to Expressions...which mostly failed.

Cox will have a staff that HE has brought in now. Well maybe not totally until the Carroll situation is resolved.

It was going to happen at some point.

In this short interview, he mentions Kentucky, UConn and Duke. He also says he's only going to school for 6 or 7 months. At least he's honest about it. Sounds like once basketball season is done, so is he.

I appreciate the nice words about Hurley, but in a fair world, he could be draft eligible right out of high school.

Stating the obvious, but if he does go to college for a year it's probably 95% certain it will be either Duke, Kentucky, NC or Kansas and 5% UConn and everyone else

Even if we don’t have a prayer of landing him, I would love it if his final four is Kentucky, UNC, Duke and Rhody. That would just make me smile...

You understand that URI fired Ty on May 31st and two days later Clarke was in a picture with Ty in LA. URI’s connection with Clarke was thru Expressions and the connection has been destroyed. We weren’t getting Clark any way and we have no chance of being his final four.

Ty flew there because he doesn’t have a job. He will need leverage to get his next gig.

If I had a kid in that position, I think I’d push him to Kentucky as much as I could. Whatever you think about Calipari, I think he does a great job with the one and dones and the guys who thought they might be in that position but aren’t after a year. Other coaches who are starting to get their share of those kinds of players are just copying a lot of what he does.

I also like that Calipari is kind of upfront about the fact that he's bringing these kids in and teaching them to be pros, essentially. I don't think he's a great game coach or anything - he usually seems to flame out when he can't make adjustments with those uber-talented rosters - but he does have an eye for talent that'll succeed in the NBA and other professional leagues.

I very much agree with all that. He figured out the game early on and ran with it. It will be interesting to see how it goes if guys can again go straight to the draft.

Obviously he's not coming here, but it's going to be fun watching his development. This kid is special.

I am guessing PC will not be on the list.
I believe that Memphis is actually the favorite.

I think it’s safe to assume Rhody was a cool #7 on his list.

Strong Conference affiliations represented in his list...
ACC - Duke and Boston College
AAC - Memphis
PAC 12 - UCLA
SEC - Kentucky
Big 12 - Texas Tech

Article on Clarke and Kentucky and NBA

Interesting take on Clarke’s outside shooting. I had the same impression in the 6 games I saw him play this summer.

Rumors circulating on social media that Clarke was involved in a bad car accident, haven't seen anything official though.

Rumors are that Clarke was killed in the car accident. Don't have confirmation but there are many messages out there on this. Hope nothing to it.

Hearing that the accident was in California
